Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 428

**Chapter 428: The Battlefield Ignites**

As Emma disembarked from the warship, her feet met the floating observation platform with an unsettling sense of gravity. The moment she gazed out, it felt as if the very universe had conspired to deliver a blow to her chest.

Before her lay an infinite expanse, a boundless void that was both terrifying and mesmerizing. There was no up or down, no left or right; just an endless abyss, a deep, inky blackness punctuated by the glow of drifting nebulae and the twinkling of distant stars.

In the heart of this emptiness loomed a colossal, shattered continent, its size so immense and fragmented that it defied the limits of her imagination. It hovered there, suspended in the void, like a relic from a forgotten era.

The surface of this land was barren, a desolate canvas stripped of all life. Rust-colored badlands stretched endlessly, while jagged canyons cleaved the earth like massive scars, telling tales of ancient battles and forgotten glories. At the continent’s core, enormous spires jutted into the void, their jagged edges reminiscent of some long-lost titan’s structure, ensnared in enormous, time-worn chains that seemed to whisper secrets of the past.

Even the air felt heavy, imbued with an unnameable, primal weight that pressed down on her chest.

“So, this is the Pantheon Battlefield?” Emma murmured, her voice trembling with awe and disbelief.

“Yes,” Silas replied, standing resolutely beside her. His deep-blue eyes, usually so calm, were now fixed on the ruined land with an almost sacred reverence. “This place has borne witness to the rise of countless elites. Every inch of its soil is soaked with the blood of those who dared to reach for greatness. For every therian across the interstellar realm, this is hallowed ground.”

As if summoned by the gravity of the moment, Lucien, Marcus, and Calum emerged from behind them. Their expressions were sharp, solemn, and intense, eyes slicing across the battlefield like drawn blades, each burning with an insatiable lust for combat.

“Emma, stay here,” Lucien commanded, a confident grin flickering across his face as he glanced back at her.

Marcus held her gaze a moment longer, his voice a low growl of determination. “Ms. Tibarn, I will win this.”

Calum towered over her, pulling her into a swift, powerful embrace that radiated warmth. His breath brushed against her ear, sending a shiver down her spine. “Wait for me, Ms. Tibarn.”

With that, he released her, stepping back to join Lucien and Marcus. The three of them fell into formation, their camaraderie palpable, and then surged forward into the battlefield like arrows released from taut bows, the silence around them shattered only by the impending chaos.

A piercing cry split the air, reverberating through the void.

In an instant, Lucien transformed mid-flight into a magnificent phoenix, engulfed in golden-red Divine Flame. Each plume shimmered like molten crystal, radiant and fierce. His regal tail feathers left trails of dazzling fire in their wake, the very space around him shimmering with intense heat.
