Chapter 565 I Am No Longer Your Brother
Chapter 565 I Am No Longer Your Brother
“I’ve already given him a serious scolding.”
Emma listened quietly. Her long lashes lowered, veiling the emotions in her eyes.
She lifted her teacup, took a small sip, and smiled lightly.
“So that’s how it is. Then it seems I misunderstood.”
Lily glanced at Dahlia and frowned slightly. That isn’t what Dahlia says before, is it?

But Lily quickly talked herself into it. Dahlia is smart–brilliant, even. Of course, she keeps certain things to herself when dealing with outsiders.
We are only using Emma anyway. Not telling her the whole truth is perfectly normal.
With that thought, Lily admired Dahlia even more.
Dahlia was just so clever, guarded with outsiders, yet completely sincere with her as a friend.
“Emma, it really was my misunderstanding,” Lily said with a smile, turning to Emma. “Dahlia already has several high–tier mates. There’s no way she’d be interested in Damian.”
Then she added casually, “Though I did hear Damian is quite handsome, and his level isn’t low either. I’m actually pretty interested in meeting him myself.”
“Is that so?” Emma looked at Lily calmly.
She could see it clearly now–Lily and Dahlia didn’t actually care about Damian himself. What they were interested in was his wealth.
“Of course,” Lily nodded. “I only have two or three mates right now. If I could form a bond with Damian, that wouldn’t be a bad thing at all.
As soon as she said it, Lily felt the timing was perfect.
Wasn’t the whole point of today’s visit to get closer to Emma?
With that in mind, her smile widened. “Emma, I happen to be planning to buy an airship. Why don’t we go to Nexus Prime Tech together tomorrow and take a look?”
Dahlia immediately echoed her suggestion with a smile. “I think that’s a great idea. Emma, you should come with us.”
So… they are trying to get closer to me? Emma smiled and nodded. “Sure. I’ve just returned to the

Central Planet anyway, and there are quite a few things I need to buy. We can visit NexusPrime Tech tomorrow, and maybe do some shopping afterward.”
She had barely finished speaking when Malrik strode in at full speed.
“Ms. Tibarn.”

The tall, imposing figure of Malrik entered the reception room. He didn’t spare Dahlia or Lily even a glance, walking straight over to Emma instead.
“Malrik, you’re back.”
Emma immediately smiled, taking his hand. Then she turned to Lily. “Look–who just arrived?”
Only then did Malrik look at Lily.
There was no warmth in his gaze–only coldness, and unmistakable disgust.
On his way back, he’d already received a message from Edric, informing him that Lily was here.
No one understood Lily better than he did.
She was just like their mother—selfish and calculating.
When he was useful, he was her dearest “brother in the world; when he wasn’t, he wasn’t even worth as much as a stray dog on the street in her eyes.
There was no way she was here today out of pure concern.
“What are you doing here?” Malrik’s voice was icy, completely devoid of courtesy.
Lily froze. The smile on her face stiffened instantly.
What is that supposed to mean? He doesn’t want me here?
I am his sister. His actual sister!
Her eyes reddened at once, her voice trembling with grievance.
“Why are you being so harsh? Of course, I came to see you–and Emma. I heard you were injured some time ago. I’ve been really worried about you.”
As she spoke, Lily quickly pulled two bottles of medicine from her storage band and handed them to him.

“Look, I even brought medicine for you. Why are you being so cold? Do you really not want me here?”
Malrik glanced at the medicine and let out a cold laugh, unmoved.
He knew that pitiful expression far too well.
Back in the Enchanter Clan, Lily had always relied on this exact act to gain sympathy and get what she wanted.
He didn’t take the medicine.
“If you came to see me,” he said flatly, “you’ve seen me. You can leave now.”
“You… you’re kicking me out?”
Lily stared at him in disbelief, her face flushing then paling. Her fingers clenched tightly at her clothes, as if she’d been deeply humiliated.
“Malrik, I’m your sister. I came out of kindness, and you’re driving me away?”
Dahlia, standing to the side, watched Malrik’s merciless treatment of his own sister. A flicker of appreciation flashed in her eyes.
As expected of the most gifted Enchanter of the clan, even his coldness was captivating. Soon enough, he will be mine.
Just thinking about it made her smile inwardly.
Malrik looked at Lily, who was on the verge of tears, his presence growing even colder.
“I no longer have anything to do with the Enchanter Clan,” he said icily. “And I am no longer your brother.”
“You-”
Lily hadn’t expected Malrik to be this ruthless now.
