Emma nodded with a smile. “Alright. In that case I won’t hold back.”

She didn’t dare accept a personal gift from Dahlin, worried it might provoke backlash. Bur anything taken from NexusPrime Tech came from Damian’s production lines and would be perfectly safe. If Dahlia wanted to show off, Emina was more than happy to let her.

When they reached the new exhibition hall, Emma looked around at all the unfamiliar items and casually picked up a new storage band. She held it up excitedly. “This ring is gorgeous. I really like it.”

With that, she turned to Damian. “Put this on my tab. I’ll settle everything later.”

“No problem,” Damian said with a pleasant nod.

He immediately instructed staff to package the ring Emma had chosen and handed it straight to Edric–carefully avoiding letting it pass through Dahlia’s hands.

“This weapon looks great too.” Emma picked up a new hunting weapon and looked at Dahlia. “I think it suits me.”

Dahlia nodded with a smile. “I agree. I’ll get that for you as well.”

Lily was green with envy at this point. The ring she could let go–its price wasn’t outrageous –but that weapon was expensive. She couldn’t understand why Dahlia wouldn’t get anything for her.

Lily hurried over, grabbing Dahlia’s hand while whining. “Dahlia, I want that weapon too.”

Dahlia shot her a look, resisting the urge to strangle her. What is this idiot doing sticking her nose in?

“You don’t even go hunting. What do you need a weapon for?” Dahlia forced herself not to throttle Lily as she asked the question.

Damian nodded and placed everything Emma had selected onto Dahlia’s bill.

When Dahlia and Lily finally finished talking, Damian presented a storage band to Dahlia. “Ms. Lane, thank you for supporting Nexus Prime Tech today. This is our complimentary gift for you.”

“Thank you.” Dahlia reached out to take the ring. As she extended her hand, she attempted to brush her fingertips against Damian’s palm, but he avoided her touch.
