Just when everyone thought this drama would end up in a way where Vickie would get thrown out by the Graham family, suddenly, a cold and mellow low voice came through from the entrance.

“What are all of you doing?”

A tall and long build wearing a pair of leather shoes walked onto the marbled floor, producing a clear and bright sound and appeared in everyone’s vision.

As he was standing in the entrance against the light, everyone in the living room could not see his face clearly. However, from his deep tone, it could be heard that he was unhappy.

The man’s appearance was like a stone that fell into a lake, affecting everyone’s heart space just like ripples in water but they were all different.

Madam Graham’s face turned pale, Little Rose’s hand was in mid-air, the rest of the servants had their heads low and even Mr. Osborne lowered his head. His previously crossed arms had changed position, as though he was gesturing a sign to Gregory.

Only Vickie, who stood in the middle of the living room did not move an inch. Her facial expression remained cool. The light was probably too bright or for some other reason, her eyes squinted into a line as she looked towards the entrance.

The man who did not get a reply frowned mildly then picked up his footsteps and walked inside.

This handsome face, along with a cool expression and eyes so dark that it could pierce through a person’s heart, kept walking forward and appeared in front of Vickie.

His gaze was stone cold and there was no happiness or dislike that he should have when he looked at her. His good looking lips sealed tight, releasing a strict and fierce aura.

“Gregory!”

Madam Graham shouted while walking forward in big steps, as though she wanted to give an explanation, but just one glance from this man shut her up.

“Stop talking! From today onwards, she’ll live here as a guest. This is my decision.”

“Live here?!”

Madam Graham enlarged her eyes in disbelief, “Do you know what you’re talking about? You didn’t see how she acted just now!”

She turned around and looked at Little Rose. Just like holding onto the final straw, she pointed towards Little Rose and said, “You can ask Little Rose. Her attitude was so arrogant just now! How could she be fit enough to be the Graham family’s daughter in law?”

Gregory frowned as he listened, and interrupted her, “Enough!! I don’t need anyone meddling with my affairs. This is the chateau, not the Graham family’s old residence. If all of you want to intervene, change the location then talk about it. After all, I have the last say in everything here!”

“But…”

Madam Graham suddenly shut herself up because she could see the man’s gaze was cold-blooded like a wild wolf. A frowning fierce, long brow showed the impatience of the owner.

In the Graham family, there was no doubt about her status. However, there was no doubt that the life and death of the Graham family currently depended entirely on this young man’s hands. Even towards his stepmother, he would never spare any feelings for her.

Since she was just here for a vacation and was passing by, she only stayed for two days.

Gregory did not send them away but only instructed Harold to give them a ride.

No one could blame Vickie for being overly sensitive because first of all, her previous encounters prepared her to not trust anyone so easily.

Secondly, as she continued living here she had a strong gut feeling. On the outside, this chateau seemed normal, apart from looking a tad bit more grand and lavish, nothing looked different from the usual. However, in reality, there were probably not less than twenty undercover agents surrounding her, and each of them was highly professional.
