Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 911

Shimon’s life was indeed in Gregory’s hands right now despite there being a crowd of men surrounding them. However, Shimon knew Gregory too well.

Without a doubt, the man before him was acting like a straight-up lunatic.

If Shimon truly enraged him, he might not live past today.

Thus, he stayed silent and was hesitant to make his next move.

Swallowing his anger, Shimon said, “I really don't know, Gregory. Please calm down. You know my family and what they’re like. Imagine what will happen if you kill me. Think of the consequences!

“I may just be a normal low-rank member of the household, but if I die by your hands, the Flinders will hunt you down to save their dignity!

“When that happens you’ll have the Chinese Association in front of you and the Flinders clawing at your back. It’s a double whammy! Do you really want to bet the lives of the whole Dragon Regiment on this?”

As he finished, the room fell into a state of temporary silence.

Gregory neither loosened his hold on the gun nor did he take a step forth.

At this point, Yuliana trepidly walked over.

Her face was filled with panic as she watched the two men before her. She attempted to play peacemaker. “Mr. Graham, can we please sit down and talk this out nicely? Aren’t you two friends? Can't we settle this peacefully? The gun…”

As she spoke, she reached out and tried to grab the hand that held the gun.

However, Yuliana was stopped by Gregory’s icy glare.

To use that glare against Shimon himself was fine, but to use it on Yuliana? Shimon’s patience cracked a little bit.

He pulled Yuliana to his side and said, “Gregory Graham, this is between us men. Don't drag an innocent woman into this.”

Gregory looked at him with a cold smile.

“Look at you and Miss Lynch, acting like such a deeply affectionate couple. You should share the good fortune and help those who are troubled right?”

As he said that, he moved his gunpoint from Shimon to Yuliana’s head.

He continued mockingly, “You’re right. I can't touch you since now’s a bad time to have the Flinders as enemies.

“But she’s different. If I’m not wrong, she hasn’t gotten recognition from your family yet, has she? If I kill her, the Flinders probably won’t make enemies of the Dragon Regiment over a random woman right?”

Shimon’s eyes narrowed.

The normally handsome and elegant man that always kept his cool against all enemies suddenly flared up in rage.

“Gregory Graham! Don't you dare!”

At this point, Gregory was tired of repeating himself. “I’ll ask one last time. Whose men are they?!”

Shimon clenched his fists tightly.

Yuliana was scared to the point she was as pale as a ghost, but she saw how conflicted Shimon was.

She cried out to him, “Mr. Flinders, pay me no heed! Just tell your men to capture this madman and don't tell him!”

The more Yuliana pleaded, the less resolved Shimon became.

Yuliana then turned to Gregory and said, “Gregory Graham, you barged into our home for no good reason to ask a bunch of absurd questions. Are you out of your mind?! If you have the guts to, then do it! Shoot me! I’ll be damned if you can walk out of here peacefully after this!”

Gregory smiled coldly and said with a mocking voice, “To think that Mrs. Flinders is so ballsy.”

After he spoke, Gregory turned back to look at Shimon.

“It’s such a pity that you’re with a man who doesn't know how to cherish you. If you reincarnate in your next life, be sure to find a good family.”

With that, he tightened his grip on the gun and bellowed, “I’m going to count to three. If you don't spit it out, you’ll be sorry.”

Shimon stood up and noticed a slightly traumatized Yuliana.

He thought about how she had fearlessly and heroically tried to save him. He could not help but smile.

He extended a hand toward her. “Do you want to get up?”

Yuliana froze and saw his hand when she raised her head. She looked up at his calm face and snapped back to reality, quickly taking his hand.

Shimon gently pulled her up from the sofa and she fell into his embrace.

Despite knowing that Gregory would never kill her, she was still terrified by the overpowering and unforgiving aura he had.

It sent chills down her spine. She still had not fully recovered from it.

Shimon looked at her dainty and terrified face, feeling even more sorry.

He reached out and tucked a strand of stray hair behind her ear while smiling. “You got scared, didn’t you?”

Yuliana looked up at him, her hazel eyes quickly tearing up.

She did not cry but instead stubbornly pursed her lips together while shaking her head.

“I wasn’t scared. Just…”

Her words did not match her actions since her fingers were shakily gripping his arm.

Shimon saw through her act and softly laughed. He picked her up in a bridal carry and walked upstairs.

On the other end…

Gregory headed straight back to the chateau after leaving Shimon’s villa.
