Its surface churned like boiling lava, constantly absorbing the smaller slimes still flowing toward it from every direction. At the center of its translucent body, a dark crimson core pulsed slowly.

The giant slime finally stabilized and leaned forward slightly. Its massive body rippled as two glowing crimson lights formed near the upper portion of the slime mass.

For the first time since Damon arrived on the planet... something actually looked back at him. The pressure in the air suddenly increased. The slime had intelligence, far more than what a slime should have.
