'If I rush things, I might get an opportunity to save him in time, but that's not what he would want. He would want our plan to succeed.'
'Trying to help him is the one thing that won't help him.'
'I'm sorry, Manny,' Kyle thought as he looked upward. 'I don't want to sacrifice you. I wish there were another way, but...'
'I just can't see it.'
'Maybe you even want me to forget you so that I can focus on the mission. I'm sorry, but I can't do that.'
Kyle stood up.
'But I also won't waste more time,' he thought as he looked towards the east. 'I will keep going forward. I will keep working, and I will give my everything to this mission!'
'Ayuvar must be saved! This is my home, and maybe it was also your home.'
'I'll not disappoint you, Manny!'
Kyle's mind focused on the plan again, and moments later, the Demon Car resumed its travels towards the east.
After some years, Kyle noticed that the journey became a bit more perilous. The reason was that almost all Demons around him were at the higher levels of the Primal Realm. The Demon Car was a Peak Primal since it was only comprised of Level Three Elements.
The Demons around Kyle became increasingly more aggressive. They could see that the Demon Car was a Peak Primal, and many of them had already tried to kill him.
Yet, one also had to remember that the Demon Car wasn't a Demon. It was an Elemental, and an Elemental didn't have as much power as a Demon in the same Realm... usually.
Luckily, even though the Demon Car was an Elemental, it was also a unique Elemental. The power of an Elemental scaled with the mass of its Energy, up to a maximum dictated by the Elements it was made of. An Elemental made of Minor Fire could become a Peak Primal. It could never become an Initial Crusher since Minor Fire couldn't contain that much Energy.
Yet, Kyle's Elemental was made of eight Minor Elements, and all of these Elements supported a certain amount of Energy. This meant that the Demon Car had eight times the Energy of a normal Elemental in his Realm.
This technically put the level of Energy of his Elemental on the same level as an Early Crusher Elemental. However, one couldn't forget that these Elementals were made of Level Four Laws, not Level Three Laws. The quality of their Energy was much higher. Metaphorically, the Demon Car was eight kilos of wood, while an Early Crusher Elemental was eight kilos of gasoline. They had the same mass, but one had significantly more Energy than the other.
In reality, this meant that the Demon Car had the power of an Initial Crusher Elemental while still being a Primal Elemental, but one also had to remember that Elementals were weaker than Demons. So, in short, the Demon Car was just as powerful as a Peak Primal Demon.
As Kyle evaded yet another wave of Demons, he looked around. 'According to my Elemental's Realm, this would be the perfect place to become stronger. Unfortunately...'
Kyle looked at the Law Wells around him.
The vast majority of them were Law Wells for Minor Elements, but there were also some Law Wells for Yin-Elements.
There was not a single Law Well for Gravity Elements.
'Weak Primal Demons still look at Level Two laws. Strong Primal Demons start looking at Level Three Laws. Weak Crusher Demons still look at Level Three Laws...'
'Only strong Crusher Demons look at Level Four Laws.'
'If I want to look at Level Four Laws, I need to go to the places where strong Crusher Demons are, but my Demon Car is only a Peak Primal.'
'I can't fight for the Demon Car since leaving it will expose me. The only thing I can do is to control it with my mind. To me, my enemies are moving so slowly that a battle might as well be turn-based for me. The problem is that the Demon Car is too slow and weak. I get almost infinite time for my turn, but my opponents have a short time for five turns or something like that. I can plan, but I have limited resources. They have a lot of resources, but they can't plan.'
'I'm not sure if I can jump an entire Realm.'
Kyle sighed. 'But what else am I supposed to do? I need the Level Four Elements.'
