Sebastian could hear the disappointment and frustration in Abyssal Depth's voice, and he felt a bit ashamed. He knew that he wasn't weak. After all, he could use twice the amount of Energy a normal Immortal could use due to his Weapon Avatars. If he had access to a Law Well of the Level Eight Law of Lightning, he would also be able to comprehend it pretty quickly.
Sadly, none of that helped if he couldn't even sense his enemy. He wanted to tell Abyssal Depths that he wasn't weak, but he also couldn't just unveil the secret of his power. So, whether he liked it or not, he had to swallow the shame.
"I've never focused on the Primordial Forces before," Sebastian answered. "I don't know how long it will take to comprehend them. We do have savings, which means I don't have to create Energy Stones. I can focus on comprehending the Primordial Force Laws."
"How big are your savings?" Abyssal Depths asked.
"We almost have a hundred Grade Nine Energy Stones in Immortal Metals," Kyle answered. "It's not enough to support his advancement."
"What other things do you have?" Abyssal Depths asked. "You might have some things that are worth something."
"Is there a way to check?" Kyle asked. "Is there some kind of list of valuables and their general prices?"
"There are four ways you can use to sell your wares," Abyssal Depths answered. "One, the internal marketplace of a Higher Supreme Power. Without becoming a member, you have no way to access it. Two, the affiliate marketplace of a power. You don't want to be affiliates, which means you also don't have access to that as well."
"Three, face-to-face trading. You can ask whoever you see if they're interested in your wares, but that might annoy some Immortals. Trading like this is quite risky since many Immortals are just looking for a reason to make the Karmic Punishment for killing you lighter. Just holding up a sign or telling your Communicator to broadcast your wares is easier, but not many people look for these kinds of frequencies."
"Lastly, you can use the general marketplace of Wild's Summit. They buy basically everything, but they will pay you only 50% of the value. The good news is that they don't lie. If you have some kind of rare treasure, they will tell you how much it is worth."
Kyle sighed. '50%.'
"Guess we're going with the general marketplace," Kyle answered before looking at Sebastian, who nodded in agreement. "Do you still have Comprehension Fruits?"
"Some," Sebastian answered. "I might need more if I want to comprehend the Primordial Force Laws in a reasonable timeframe."
"With Comprehension Fruits, you might finish in just 200,000 years," Abyssal Depths answered.
"Are they worth anything?" Sebastian asked. "We have more."
"Depends on the grade," Abyssal Depths answered. "There are different kinds of Comprehension Fruits, and it's hard to distinguish their grade if you don't know how. You should ask in the marketplace."
"Sure," Sebastian answered. "Anyway, we're gonna check out the market. We'll update you."
Abyssal Depths nodded as Kyle and Sebastian used the menu to teleport to the marketplace.
As soon as the two of them arrived in the marketplace, they saw tens of thousands of Immortals who were just standing around. Their Communicators were spreading a certain signal that described their wares and their prices. In the middle of the marketplace was a platform with ten Immortals. These Immortals wore the bloodred uniforms of the Wargod's Peak.
Above each of them was an emblem with stored information. The emblem was being updated every minute with new prices, and it basically contained information about any kind of valuable item someone could buy or sell to a certain degree. Exceptionally valuable treasures were not listed.
As Kyle read through the list, his eyes widened. He had often heard about natural treasures, but he hadn't truly been in contact with them. He also didn't know what exactly made them valuable.
Some of the things were self-explanatory. For example, Comprehension Fruits, metals, Gravity Cores, weapons, and Formation Array materials. However, there were also plenty of new things.
For example, why were the bodies of Immortal Beasts actually worth something? Nobody used their materials for weapons or armor, and basically every Immortal could create stone and metals to build things. Why would anyone buy the body of an Immortal Beast?
