The Energy around Kyle solidified, and he stood up.
He had successfully advanced.
He clenched his fists and felt the power in them.
He was now officially in the Fifth Realm, the Primal Realm.
Yet, as he felt the new power of his body, he was a bit disappointed.
'Just a two-level increase,' he thought. 'If a Level Eight Primal Beast had been a True Battle before, now, a Level Ten Primal Beast would be a True Battle.'
'I mean, it's still a two-level increase instead of just one, but I thought it would be more significant.'
There were two reasons for such a small increase.
First of all, the Primal Realm was not considered one of the three Dividing Realms.
After reaching the Second Realm, one's power would increase, and the Tomes would give one more abilities. Yet, Kyle had still managed to defeat people in the Second Realm while being in the First Realm, and he hadn't been nearly as outstanding back then as he was now.
The same thing counted for the Second and Third Realms. There was a gap in power, but Kyle had still managed to overcome it relatively easily.
Yet, defeating a Standard Transcendent while being in the Third Realm was basically impossible.
Even with Kyle's Law of Meteor back then, he would have most likely died.
Just defeating a False Transcendent had already required significant achievements.
That was because the Transcendent Realm was one of the three Dividing Realms.
Dividing Realms were named as such due to their significant power increase and the fact that they were the Realms needed to ascend into a higher world.
When one became a Transcendent and when one was inside a Tertiary World, they would advance into a Secondary World.
The next Dividing Realm was the Seventh Realm, the Wisdom Fire Realm.
This Realm also came with a significant increase, and one would enter a Primary World after reaching it.
The last Dividing Realm was the Universe Realm, the Tenth Realm.
If the Primal Realm had such an insane increase in power as the Transcendent Realm, Kyle would have died immediately upon meeting his first Primal Beast, regardless of what level it had.
The second reason why the power increase was relatively small had nothing to do with the Realm but with Kyle's achievements.
Kyle's Complex Law involved the Law of Body, and its level pushed the powers of the Law of Body far beyond its usual capabilities. Kyle's Complex Law was more of a flat increase in physical power with a small multiplier added to it.
The flat increase was far more significant than the small multiplier.
If Kyle's previous power could be compared to a Level 3.4 Law, his new power could be compared to a Level 3.6 Law.
He was definitely stronger than before, but it wasn't even half a level when looking at it from a Law viewpoint.
'Well, power is power. I shouldn't complain,' he thought.
Then, Kyle smirked.
'I wonder how strong my Element Absorption is now.'
Element Absorption was the bonus a Primal received upon advancing as a Fulfilled or Unique Transcendent.
It somehow tasted slightly different.
It was like there was something else there as well.
The next moment, a huge screen of light appeared in front of Kyle.
"Primals with a Light Affinity are not allowed to use Elemental Absorption in the Advancement Halls. It might damage the Formation Arrays."
Kyle blinked a couple of times.
"What? I don't have a Light Affinity!" he shouted.
The writing on the screen changed.
"Confirm that you do not have a Light Affinity. Deception will be punished," the new writing said.
"I do not have a Light Affinity!" Kyle shouted.
The writing vanished again.
Kyle just blinked a couple of times.
Then, a man suddenly appeared in front of him.
"Hi, former Legendary Transcendents are also not allowed to use Element Absorption," the man said casually.
