After some last-minute preparations, the group met on a random Planet.
Kyle and Fierce Breaker had already used the last couple of years to conjure weapons for all of their friends. Although calling them friends was no longer completely accurate. It was more fitting to call them a team.
Kyle and Fierce Breaker were the only ones with Metal Affinities, which meant they were also the only ones who could create fitting weapons. The Primary World didn't allow anyone to bring things they couldn't make themselves, which was why Kyle and Fierce Breaker needed to keep the weapons for now. As soon as they arrived, they would hand them to the others.
"Is everyone prepared?" a deep voice said.
The team looked around but couldn't find the owner of the voice. Most likely, this was a powerful member of the Cult or of the secretive Organization.
"Everyone's ready," Star Genesis said.
Naturally, everyone had already gotten rid of basically all of their belongings. The only things they still had were their clothing, which they could easily conjure themselves.
Star Genesis wore a black dress. Swamp Dragon wore some white robes. Sebastian wore a black shirt and pants. Fierce Breaker wore a form-fitting set of armor. Manny wore rough leather armor, and Kyle wore a simple set of dark blue armor.
Naturally, none of these pieces of clothing could offer any sort of protection, even if they sometimes looked like they would. Wearing a usable set of armor would slow the person down quite a bit due to its weight.
A moment later, their surroundings warped.
Kyle felt like he was rapidly shifting through different realities. A feeling of vertigo and nausea assaulted him for a moment, but this was nothing compared to his Sin Flames.
After a couple of seconds, the world around them materialized again, and as Kyle looked forward, he saw an endless silver wall.
Even with their powerful senses, it was still difficult to sense the slight curvature of this silver wall.
This was their target, the unknown Primary World. Naturally, the world was a sphere, and it was absolutely massive.
The Tertiary World Kyle had gone to was only a couple of thousand kilometers across. It had felt kind of small. However, this Primary World was anything but small.
According to the data, the world had a diameter of about ten trillion kilometers, which translated to roughly one lightyear.
If Kyle used his top speed and teleported from one place to another continuously, he would need over six years to get from one end to another.
As Kyle looked at the humongous wall, he took a deep breath. "I have no idea how it looks inside. It could be one Planet. It could be several Planet Sectors. It could also be flat, with the top half of the sphere containing air and the bottom containing ground."
After looking at the silver wall for a bit, Kyle looked at the others. "Well, in case I immediately get violently murdered, it was nice working with all of you."
"I call dibs on all of your materials," Sebastian answered.
"Don't be so dour," Manny commented. "Nothing's gonna happen... I hope."
"We're ready to depart," Swamp Dragon said to whoever was going to send them there.
"Don't speak for me," Sebastian said with annoyance. "I still need two seconds to get ready... okay, I'm ready."
Swamp Dragon didn't engage with Sebastian.
"We're ready," Star Genesis said after a bit.
According to the team's plan, Star Genesis would make most of the calls. Naturally, the team needed some kind of leader, and everyone had agreed that Star Genesis was the best option.
Swamp Dragon was too extreme, and several people had issues with him. Manny's demeanor and his mysterious allegiance didn't seem trustworthy or reliable. Fierce Breaker was more of a silent fighter who was primarily interested in his own power. Sebastian was too chaotic. Kyle was too untrustworthy.
Star Genesis was the only person who could somewhat get along with everyone else while also being trustworthy.
"Have you all come up with a story for your ascension?" the mysterious voice asked.
Everyone nodded.
