Kyle looked at the fruits for a while and sighed. 'I guess everyone's really going all-in on me. Not sure if Swamp Dragon did that of his own volition or if Manny told him to use his wish for me.'
'It doesn't matter. In the end, he still helped me a lot. The air between us might be cold and distant, but we're still working towards the same goal. You don't need to like someone to work with them.'
Kyle put the fruits away and sent a couple more wisps to his companions, essentially telling them that he would be entering seclusion to focus on the Law of Spacetime Metal.
Moments later, he went deep underground so that he could comprehend in peace and quiet.
Finally, he took out the first cube of Spacetime Metal. When he had comprehended Gravity Metal, he had created his own Law Well via Formation Arrays, but this wouldn't be feasible this time. Every Formation Array needed materials and an Energy Source. While he could use his Center as an Energy Source, the materials to create the Formation Arrays would be unnecessarily expensive.
In the end, Kyle decided to comprehend the Law in the classic way. He would smelt it, watch it, smell it, taste it, feel it, and understand it.
'I haven't comprehended an Elemental Level Five Law yet. I'm not sure how long this will take.'
As Kyle experimented with the first cube of Spacetime Metal, he quickly found out why it was so special and powerful.
'Gravity Metal uses a lot of Gravity Energy. It draws in other objects, and its own density also increases drastically since the gravitational forces are constantly pulling it together. Yet, as expected, Spacetime Metal is even stronger.'
'The space inside the metal is drastically compressed. Technically, that doesn't increase its density since it still takes up just as much space as before, but the Spacetime Metal interacts with normal space like its space doesn't follow special rules.'
'However, that's not enough to make it that much stronger than Gravity Metal. If it's just density, Gravity Metal is technically even a bit denser, but when I look at it, it actually seems much denser. There's just way more metal in this small cube, and I don't even exactly know why. It's probably related to its time aspect, but for now, I can't see what it does exactly. I can see that the Time Energy inside it is moving chaotically and with intensity, but I don't know what it's doing exactly.'
'Yeah, well, I'm still in the beginning of my comprehension. At some point, I will get it.'
As Kyle started his long session of comprehension, his companions were doing their own thing.
Star Genesis was taking out a tiny piece of Spacetime Metal and putting it into an elaborate and complex Formation Array. A moment later, the tiny piece started to decay, and different kinds of Energy spread across the surroundings. The Energies entered other Formation Arrays, and a mix of Energy was produced.
When Star Genesis saw the product, she didn't show any reaction and tweaked some parts of her Formation Array. This product was just one more failure, but that was to be expected. What she was attempting to do was difficult.
Fierce Breaker was fighting a Peak Sage Demon while surrounded by over a thousand other Sages. Unique Sages were about as powerful as Peak Sage Demons, but by now, these Peak Sage Demons didn't even count as True Battles for Fierce Breaker anymore. He had killed thousands of them by now.
Fierce Breaker thrust his spear forward. Stone and metal gathered around it, and the Peak Sage Demon collapsed as the spear dug into its head. Some of the Seekers around him watched him with interest, while others were busy fighting other Peak Sage Demons. No matter how many times they saw Fierce Breaker fighting, they were always surprised by the sheer intensity of his attacks. It was like his spear could penetrate anything and everything.
Sebastian was surrounded by dense water as he descended further into the Divide. The massive river between Ayuvar and the Abyss was one of the only places in which one could find normal Beasts in higher Realms. Due to the overpowering might and brutality of Humanity and the Demons, the normal beasts didn't dare to come to the surface. The Divide was where beings in the Fusion Realm fought, and being anywhere near such a battle was terrifying.
