Supreme Harem God System novel Chapter 2168

Chapter 2168: What are you doing?

"Will you stop with whatever this philosophical bullshit you have come up with?

Enough of your celestial poetry.

I have things I want you lot to do,

So start being useful before I lose my mind."

Nux snapped, staring at the Light Borns with an annoyed look on his face.

And the Light Borns...

They stared back at him in silence.

For a few seconds, the entire dark void turned silent, only the golden light that the Light Borns released broke that empty darkness.

Then finally—

"Things you want us to do?"

One of them laughed coldly.

"What do you even mean by that?"

Another Light Born scoffed, his golden eyes narrowing.

"Why would we ever do what you say?"

Another asked.

"You think you can order us around just because we’ve fallen?"

"Don’t mistake us for your allies, Anomaly."

Another stepped forward and spoke with a cold look on his face.

"And lose your mind? What if you do lose your mind? What then? What are you going to do? You’re dead. Just like us. You think your grand title scares us?"

"You are dead, just like us.

There is nothing scary about you anymore, Anomaly.

If anything,

You are a failure.

One who failed to fulfil his words—a waste.

An arrogant fool."

Their voices overlapped—their mockery, their defiance, their anger. They didn’t hide any of these ’negative’ emotions in their voices.

The noble calmness and gentleness they once carried were nowhere to be seen. After all, they had already died.

They were no longer holy beings of ’order and grace’—right now, they were merely bitter remnants of what they used to be.

Free remnants who could do and speak what they wanted, without any other being constantly watching over them.

As the Light Borns snapped back at him, Nux stared at them with a blank expression. There was no anger or frustration in his eyes, it was just... disappointment.

For a moment, he considered talking to them, explaining that unlike what they believed, they weren’t actually dead but...

Seeing their expressions—those arrogant, despising smiles, the body language that screamed that they no longer cared about the consequences of their actions anymore...

It was clear that it wouldn’t work, and even if it did, he would need a lot of time to actually convince these arrogant fools—

"Forget it."

He sighed as he rubbed the back of his neck, then, he stared at the group of golden lights in front of him and then—

Then he moved.

BOOM

With just a single movement, he dashed forward, faster than any of the Light Borns could react to—even then, they all prepared themselves for whatever was about to happen.

But...

Nothing happened...

The Light Borns looked around, trying to find where Nux was. As for Nux...

He stood a little further away with a frown on his face.

With Nux grabbing his head, no matter what he did, no matter how strongly he struggled, it was useless.

Then suddenly—

WFHOOSH

A dark, heavy energy surged from Nux’s body, spilling into the air like liquid shadow. It wrapped itself around the struggling Eternal, smothering his light completely.

"W-What is this!?"

The Light Born screamed, trying to break free. His golden arms trembled, energy burned through his veins as he used all his power to break free. His wings constantly flapped in the air, trying to push his body away from this monstrosity, but just like before, no matter how much power he used, no matter what he did, Nux’s grip didn’t even shake.

"Stop it!"

Another Light Born shouted.

"Have you lost your mind!?"

A few of them dashed forward, their wings slicing through the darkness, their Auras flaring up, preparing to attack and slice Nux’s body in half—

But Nux moved again and disappeared—

He reappeared far away, still holding the struggling Light Born in one hand.

The rest of the Light Borns stopped mid-flight. The distance between them had widened; they were scared that if they moved too boldly, he might do something.

Instead—they tried to talk—

"What are you doing?"

One of them questioned with a solemn look on his face.

But Nux...

He just stared without any change in his expression. The Light Born he was holding wasn’t even visible. The other Light Borns could tell he was still struggling to break free, but the monster holding him was... strong—too strong.

And then, the Light Borns noticed something.

The black energy that had surrounded their comrade began to fade away. They all waited, but as the black energy faded completely—

Their comrade... had faded out of existence as well.
