"But the Seer wasn’t the only help I was talking about."
Orravyn spoke up, once again attracting the attention of the entire room.
"There is someone else.
Someone... even stranger than the Seer.
Someone who... definitely has a connection with the Anomaly."
And the instant he said those words, the Infinities in the room narrowed their eyes as they all thought of just one being.
A being they had not been considering till now.
"Are you... talking about *him?*"
Equarios asked in a solemn tone.
It was a question he already knew the answer to.
"You want to... seek *his* help?"
Seraphielle couldn’t believe it either.
"Don’t be foolish, Orravyn."
Ul’Thakar directly called out, not holding back his words.
"The Fifth Infinity is clearly together with the Anomaly. If it weren’t for him protecting him the first time, when the Anomaly was probably at his weakest, he would have been our prisoner by now, and in our hands, there would have been knowledge that none of us currently has access to.
The knowledge of a Universe’s God, the knowledge to travel through Universes, the knowledge to...
Take over and reign over ALL the Universes in existence!"
Ul’Thakar raised his voice; the entire room began to flutter as his words echoed strongly, reacting to his intense emotions.
Every time Ul’Thakar thought about that day — the day when that crimson-eyed man broke their connection with the Universe and looked at them without a shred of fear in his eyes —
Even today, even after centuries had passed, Ul’Thakar still remembered his words.
’What are you looking at?
Scram.’
Yes.
The word *Scram* was used.
*Scram.*
Never once in his long life had Ul’Thakar been disrespected in such a manner, and that too, by a being who...
Who was nothing more than a replacement for True Chaos, a little creation made to fill the void Zylarith Chaosveil left.
What that man did wasn’t impressive.
Yes, he managed to break their connection with the Universe, but that was because that connection led them all to him.
More than him breaking their connection with the Universe, it was much more accurate to interpret it as—he... hid himself from them.
As an Infinity, to some degree, one automatically earns the Authority to interact with the Universe’s Will on a personal level. He used that Authority to ’request’ the Universe to stop them from looking into him through their connection, and the Universe agreed.
That was all there was to it.
There was nothing brave or grand about it.
Even when Ul’Thakar and the other Infinities acted shocked after this happened, it wasn’t due to the fact someone broke their connection with the Universe.
While the news of there being a Fifth Infinity did somewhat surprise them — the main reason they were surprised was because some being dared to show them such arrogance.
Even today, when they, especially Ul’Thakar, recall that day, he wants nothing more than to tear that arrogant man into pieces, flesh by flesh, and turn him into a living figurine who could only watch as he destroys everything he held precious one by one, every single year.
"That bastard won’t help us! He has no reason to help us. Instead, he would alert the Anomaly of our plans beforehand, making it even more difficult to counterattack against him."
Ul’Thakar snorted, still feeling the same anger he felt that day, and once again, Equarios backed his words.
"Indeed. The Fifth Infinity might not help."
But this time...
"It... might be worth a try."
Seraphielle thought differently, and Orravyn nodded at her words.
"The Universe reacted strongly the first time the Anomaly moved, but even then, none of us knew that the Anomaly was from another Universe.
How do we know that the Fifth Infinity wasn’t the same?"
He asked, looking at the Entities of Balance and Darkness.
"Are you saying..."
Entity of Balance narrowed his eyes.
"What if the Anomaly fooled him first?"
Orravyn came up with another theory.
"The Fifth Infinity is the youngest of all the Infinities. He doesn’t have enough resources, nor does he have access to the knowledge that we do.
Not to mention... he is aware of our existence; he is also aware that his very presence is a threat to us, the strongest existences in the entire Universe.
Imagine waking up as him and knowing that the four strongest beings in the Universe wish for your death, and the only thing you can do is hide from them.
