Nihyron was different from the others, if Eloria’s presence soothed the people around her, Nihyron’s... made them unsettled.
And it wasn’t the same as Kaelith, in Kaelith’s case, it made sense, his presence affected the very reality around him, being near him was even dangerous at some level, not to mention when his two personalities talked to each other, it made others look at each other in confusion.
Nihyron, on the other hand, wasn’t the same. The reality did not change around him, he didn’t have two personalities, neither did he speak much but even then...
His presence was... heavy.
It was... pressurizing.
And because of that—
"He! He was the one who pushed Liyana and made her fall! I saw it!"
A boy shouted, pointing his finger at Nihyron because he wanted him to leave, but the moment he said those words—
"He’s lying."
A small voice was heard, everybody turned and their eyes fell on yet another girl.
She was standing on top of the low stone fence, perfectly balanced, her small frame was steady as if the height meant nothing to her.
Her long white hair flowed down her back, two soft cat ears rested atop her head, matching her hair, twitching faintly at every small sound around her.
She was Sable Leander.
The only daughter of Rune Leander, a girl with an astute ability to spot lies within the truth.
Her face was small, delicate, and cute, almost too cute, she had soft cheeks, gentle features, the kind of face that should have looked harmless.
But it didn’t.
Because her eyes were sharp, deep, glowing gold.
They moved quickly, catching every detail, every movement, every shift around her, it was as if nothing escaped them, not even the smallest change.
And right now, those eyes were staring at the boy who had pointed his finger at Nihyron and—
"You lied.
You knew you were lying yet you still did."
She spoke in a tone that made it impossible for anyone to refute her. The boy’s mother looked at him with a frown and the boy froze.
"I-I just thought—"
He tried to defend himself but—
"You didn’t."
Sable said flatly and the boy... he turned silent.
Silence fell again.
Some of the adults looked at Sable. Others looked at the boy. His face was pale, no one had blamed him for lying, it wasn’t even clear if the people believed Sable over him, but just Sable’s presence alone was enough to make him think that everyone was against him and that she was correct.
That was just how certain Sable looked.
The cat girl, on the other hand, jumped down and walked towards her siblings, Nihyron, Kaelith and Eloria. Her face remained calm, without an inch of confusion in it.
And just then—
CRACK
The space cracked again, and this time, the tear had appeared near the living settlements. A wooden post twisted suddenly and snapped, part of the roof above it slanted downward, and dust fell into the road.
"It broke!"
"Break more!"
Kaelith turned toward the sound, delighted.
His two voices overlapped so closely that it felt like they came from two different places.
Nihyron’s gaze shifted slightly and in an instant—
Something changed.
The air around him bent down, the torn space shook violently, the nearby houses felt like they would be crushed into nothingness, the dust covered the entire area, but just then—
Swooosh
Everything reversed.
The violent shaking, the pressure on the nearby houses, the roof that had fallen in the beginning, and even the formation of the crack itself—
It all reversed and...
It all returned to normal.
Yes, time was reversed, bringing everything back to normal.
And Nihyron, he showed no reaction, as if controlling time, the most complicated Primordial Energy of all, wasn’t something worth a reaction.
But everyone around him was different, the people couldn’t believe what they were seeing. Mind you, these people weren’t weak, almost everyone here was stronger than an Emperor, but...
Time was still a power very few beings could control and seeing a child control it to such an extent...
It was miraculous.
However, not everyone liked what Nihyron just did, especially Kaelith, or more accurately, one of Kaelith’s personalities—
"Ohh?"
He tilted his head as he stared at Nihyron, then, his grin widened and he waved his hand and the instant he did—
WHOOOOSH
CRACK CRACK CRACK
BOOOOOM
The wind became stronger, about five spatial tears appeared in the region and three explosions happened, all simultaneously—
"Try to reverse this."
Kaelith laughed.
As for the people around, their eyes widened in sheer horror as they moved to protect their children.
Nihyron watched it all happen as he waved his hand again, the time energy moved, wanting to reverse it all and contain the damage—
But as mentioned before, time was a complicated energy, even Nihyron did not have that good of a control over time to prevent everything, not at the speed at which Kaelith could do the damage.
Even then—
He tried.
After all, with enough time, he could indeed reverse it all. Kaelith knew that as well, so he waved his hand again, causing another wave of destruction around him, or at least that was what he was planning but—
"Stop."
A cold, authoritative voice was heard.
Kaelith momentarily stopped and his eyes fell on a boy.
