Supreme Harem God System novel Chapter 2353

Chapter 2353: Law of Anomaly.

"I see.

I was right to choose you, Zylarith Chaosveil."

Nux commented as he looked at Zylarith with an unsettling calm.

"What do you mean?"

Zylarith frowned.

All this while, he was under the assumption that Nux chose him because he believed he was the easiest target and while that was true to some level—

Nux had another motive.

A motive he hid even from his wives because he understood how dangerous it was.

"You control Chaos."

Nux began.

"Chaos is... Contradiction."

Zylarith didn’t say anything, those were his words and they were correct. That was what Chaos was.

Nux smiled at his confused expression and—

"You see, I am somewhat of a Contradiction myself."

"What...?"

Zylarith frowned in confusion, Nux however, did not explain any further. He just looked around him.

The unstable Reality, the incorrect Space, the Time that did not flow in order, the entire battlefield that did not make sense and he—

He... accepted it all.

The battlefield was no longer his.

It was filled with Contradictions.

And that was what he wanted in the first place, of course, the initial and safer plan was to devour him and get what he wanted through his memories—

But—

A few minutes into the battle were all Nux needed to understand how unrealistic that was.

He couldn’t defeat Zylarith Chaosveil, he was the strongest Infinity for a reason, he was... far more fearsome than anything Nux or even Azriel had predicted.

So why continue the battle?

When he knew he couldn’t win, why fight at all?

Because...

Nux, as he was right now, couldn’t defeat Zylarith Chaosveil.

But—

Nux himself was no ordinary being.

He was the only being who comprehended all Primordial Laws, the only being who managed to create an independent Universe, the only being who could make the Impossible... possible.

Or in other words—

An Exception.

Or...

A Contradiction.

The Anomaly.

The only being in the entirety of the Multiverse who had comprehended the Law of Anomaly.

A Law that... shouldn’t even exist in the first place...

But it did.

Because Nux Leander did.

The problem however, was something different, something that Nux only kept to himself. While he did manage to form an absurd Law like the Law of Anomaly, he couldn’t make... progress in it.

How could he?

The Law itself had no definition, no prior records, no related Energies that one could understand to deepen his understanding of it.

It was an entirely independent Law and Nux had no way to strengthen it.

Or at least...

That was what he initially believed, but as he learned more about the Universe, as he learned more about Sharnoth and through her, he learned about what sort of existence his own Father was—

He had an idea.

Zylarith was wrong.

Chaos was not Contradiction, it was... the de-structuring of... structure. Even Chaos followed a fixed set of rules.

At best, it was... the closest thing to Contradiction.

And Nux—

His Law of Anomaly was the True Contradiction.

And because of that, all this while, as Zylarith attacked him, as Zylarith played around with him like he was a toy, he observed.

He observed Chaos, how it ruined his surroundings, his own body, how it spread disorder while being within order and...

He learned its pattern.

Nux Leander was no normal being, he had stopped being ’normal’ a long time ago and while most, even Zylarith believed that his strongest point was his physical body, Nux and his wives knew how false that was—

Because it wasn’t just Nux’s body that was reinforced by thousands of worlds he had devoured, his brain was too.

Nux’s strongest power was his mind, a mind that had seen the Universe from the perspective of thousands of Worlds, a mind that had a deeper understanding of the Universe, even compared to the Infinities. After all, the Infinities only saw the World through their own limited perspective—

But Nux?

He had observed the Universe through hundreds of thousands of different perspectives.

For a being like him, comprehending an impossible Law while facing the most difficult battle in his life was not impossible—

And that was exactly what he had done.

He, using Zylarith Chaosveil’s Chaos as a foundation, strengthened his understanding of the Law of Anomaly and now—

"That is how I work."

The rest of Zylarith’s fragments tried to stop him, moving all at once, Nux used the Power of Destruction, Zylarith changed it, making it so the instant Nux tried to use it to destroy his fragments, he would be the one to take damage but—

Nux was no longer using Laws how they were supposed to be used.

He was using them in a way that... shouldn’t exist.

And since that way never existed in the first place, it had no order, no pattern Zylarith could use to ruin it, making it impossible for Zylarith to stop Nux’s Laws from doing whatever absurdity he was planning.

The Destruction Energy destroyed the Fragments’ escape, the void around them locked. When the Fragments realized it, they tried to scatter, they failed. Zylarith tried to erase his fragments’ meaning, but even that failed.

And Nux—

Now that all of Zylarith’s Fragments were right in front of him, a big, wide grin appeared on his face.

"NO..."

Zylarith tried to stop him but Nux punched.

BOOOOOOOOOM

And in an instant—

Every Soul Fragment was forcibly shredded out of existence and—

"AAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Zylarith screamed in agony he had never once felt before.

Nux didn’t waste time, he had the clear advantage, so he moved forward, prepared to end it, but Zylarith, even as he suffered through the pain of half of his Soul vanishing from existence—

"DO NOT THINK THIS IS OVER!!!

I WILL NOT FALL!!

NOT TO A CHILD LIKE YOU!!!"

He screamed, the rage behind his voice was so terrifyingly loud that the entire dimension shook violently. For a moment, Nux’s own body shook as he looked at Zylarith in surprise.

He had erased more than half of his Soul, he had countered all his moves, Chaos held no power over either his Laws, or his body—

The battle should have been over.

Then...

What was with that scream?

What was with that familiar feeling he just felt...?

He thought about it for a moment, and then he found the answer—

This wasn’t his own memory—

It was the combined memories of more than five hundred worlds that he devoured—

The memory of a single instance that the entire Universe felt, all at the same time, during the Great War of the Five Infinities.

When Zylarith, who was being overwhelmed by four Infinities, used a move that the entire Universe felt the brunt of, the move that not only injured every single Infinity present there, but also killed the weakened Infinity of Eternity.

Zylarith’s trump card, a move he only used once in the history of the Universe and right now—

He was using it again.
