Supreme Harem God System novel Chapter 2372

Chapter 2372: Who killed you?

"...right."

No other word came out of Nux’s mouth. Everything the Seer said made sense in his head, he was just... overwhelmed by the absurdity of it all.

"So what you are saying is...

Before I came to this Universe, it was normal like every other Universe, I disrupted it all, but now that I am gone, it is stabilizing again, correct?"

He asked, trying to see if he understood everything properly or not.

"No, your arrival did not disrupt the Universe’s Timeline."

The Seer shook her head.

"You were supposed to arrive in this Universe. It may be a rare occurrence, but there have been instances where different Universes in the Multiverse interact with each other for a very small amount of time and a few souls are exchanged."

She explained.

"So you are saying... I was supposed to come here...

I was supposed to get the System I got...

And—"

"Yes."

The Seer nodded, knowing exactly what Nux wanted to ask.

"While it may not all be the complete truth, most of what your Father explained to you was his arrangement."

"So he... really is my Father..."

Nux’s eyes shined and again, the Seer nodded.

"Not a good one.

He didn’t have your best interest in his heart, you were correct not to trust him from the beginning."

"So you knew his plan..."

Nux noted and the Seer didn’t hide it either, in fact, she revealed more facts.

"I did not just know his plans.

I know he succeeded.

Or at least...

He should have succeeded."

"What...?"

Nux’s expression changed and the Seer nodded.

"Zylarith Chaosveil was supposed to win the battle between the Infinities and rule the Universe."

"Wait..." 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

Nux paused for a moment.

"You... know what was... supposed to happen...?"

"Weren’t you listening? That Universe was the same as any Universe, I knew its past, present and future, just like I did with other Universes.

Everything only changed when... you entered Lilith’s Illusion and formed what you called the Black Hole."

"The beginning of my Universe..."

Nux muttered and the Seer nodded.

"So wait, Zylarith was supposed to win...?"

Nux asked curiously.

"That is correct."

The Seer nodded, then, since she already knew what Nux was going to ask next, she answered—

"Your first meeting was mostly the same, he came to you and told you to use your wives as tools to get stronger, you rejected him.

That day, he went away.

But he had another plan."

"Sharnoth Nocthys..."

Nux narrowed his eyes.

And again, the Seer nodded.

"Yes.

Nux blinked, none of this surprised him since he could see it happening, but it was still interesting to hear how things were supposed to play out.

The Multiverse is vast.

It is quite amusing to see how a presumably simple change can create an entirely different Universe, with an entirely different Timeline."

Nux nodded at that information, he definitely appreciated it. Thinking about how it could have gone was definitely interesting.

But—

As Nux looked at the woman standing before him, he couldn’t help but wonder.

This was the woman who... understood the Multiverse probably more than any being in the entirety of existence.

She was someone who knew the past, present and the future of every single Universe.

Just...

What sort of existence did one have to be to know what... she knew...?

The more he looked at her, the stronger his interest became, not romantically, maybe because he was still being affected by his rage, but the current Nux had no romantic feelings or desire for this woman, he was just... curious.

"What are you?"

He asked a direct question.

A question that the Seer obviously expected but for some reason, it still startled her nonetheless.

Her startled expression, however, did not stop Nux. He just narrowed his eyes as he looked at her and—

"You said that no being with a Physical Body, a Soul, or any connection to any Universe, can exist in the Multiverse then...

Who are you?

How did you come here?

How did you even know this place existed?"

He asked a series of questions.

But then—

As his mind moved, as he began thinking of the possible answers, all his questions changed and he asked one, simple question.

"Who killed you?"
