"Still no trace of fear, huh?"
Ul’Thakar laughed, trying to taunt the captured Nux.
"Fear?"
Nux just grinned.
"I think we all know who here is actually moving out of fear, don’t we?"
"Stubborn to the very end."
Zylarith laughed, then, he shook his head and—
"Well, you are stubborn because you still mean something.
Let me help you with that."
The rest of the Infinities poured their powers into the execution and—
Nux’s body disappeared.
He was gone.
And for a moment, the void turned silent.
"It’s over."
The Seer commented.
"He was... more troublesome than I expected."
Ul’Thakar commented and the other Infinities didn’t deny those words.
"It was good we took care of him."
Equarios commented.
During the entire conversation, Zylarith didn’t say anything. He was... slowly fading away, without alerting anyone but—
"Where are you going, Zylarith Chaosveil?"
Suddenly, a voice was heard and Zylarith froze.
He looked and noticed all Four Infinities were now looking at him with grins on their faces.
"What else? He was trying to escape."
Ul’Thakar laughed.
"The mighty Zylarith Chaosveil, now trying to escape like a rat.
Oh, how fate plays its game."
Seraphielle chuckled, her golden eyes shining brightly.
Equarios and Orravyn had similar expressions and Zylarith—
He didn’t need another second to figure out what they were trying to do.
Now that the Anomaly was gone, they were trying to get rid of the only existence that could possibly trouble them.
Him.
"Are you sure you want another battle right after this one?"
He asked as he narrowed his eyes dangerously.
"Oooh~ Scary~"
Ul’Thakar laughed.
"Bold of you to assume you can fight us."
Orravyn chuckled as he moved his hand, a thin silver page, the same page that removed the battlefield from the Universe’s perspective.
"Cowards..."
Zylarith growled as he instantly understood what they were trying to do. The moment the Universe sensed this battlefield, he would be forced to stop using his powers or else the Universe itself would devour him.
They weren’t even planning on giving him a fair chance.
"You were laughing when someone else called you a coward just a few seconds ago."
Seraphielle laughed.
"He was right."
Zylarith spoke with strong hatred as he prepared to use his powers anyway, he would rather be killed by the Universe than by these bastards.
But the next second, just as Orravyn was about to deactivate his Relic—
"That I was."
Another familiar voice was heard.
A voice that made every single being present, even the Seer, freeze.
In an instant, the six of them turned around and their eyes fell on him, standing in front of them, with a wide, amused grin on his face.
"No..."
Orravyn’s eyes widened in sheer horror.
"Y-You shouldn’t be alive...
That is not possible!"
Ul’Thakar screamed.
Seraphielle directly turned towards the Seer and—
"Hey! What is happening!?"
That scream made the Seer recover her senses. She looked at Seraphielle then back at Nux and...
She finally realized it.
Her plan succeeded.
’He... he really did return from death...’
She couldn’t believe it.
