Chapter 297 Crafting the drauge Staff
Chapter 297 Crafting the Orange Staff
“I only remember Christmas kom when I was little.” Riley spoke calmly, without a hink of sadness on her face.

“Back then, it was always lively. I’d follow my parents around to visit relatives and join holiday gatherings, and I got tons of my favorite candy. But that fun faded as I grew older.
“After my parents had their accident, I cut ties with most of my relatives. These days, I only hang up a few Christmas decorations. never make a big fancy holiday dinner. It was always just me, after all.”
She had long gotten used to being alone.
“Don’t worry, Burger. We’re spending Christmas with you this time!” TartKing said firmly.
“We’ll make the biggest, most amazing Christmas feast together.”
Neeko barely understood half of their conversation, but her eyes lit up the second she heard the word feast.
The girls chatted for a while, sharing their old Christmas traditions and funny stories from their hometowns.
Once they had rested enough, they got down to serious business.
Inside the tool shed in Riley’s yard…
“Did you gather all the materials?”
“Yep, every single one!”
TartKing dumped every crafting material out of her inventory in a messy pile.
[Spirit Green Crystal x 3]
[Hardwood x 15] (leftover from the monster forest)
[Thunder Wood x 1] (reserved stock from the Thunder Canyon)

[Monster Carapace × 5]
[High-tier Monster Core x 1]
[Spider Monster Eye × 2]
[Magic Energy Core × 5]
TartKing knew she could never have collected some of these rare items without the Golden Rose.
“Oh wait!” TartKing, who’d already stood quietly aside, suddenly remembered something else.
She pulled another item out of her bag-Scorpion Tail.
“Pine said this thing can add lightning damage to a wand. Can you try adding it in, Burger?” Tartking asked hopefully.
“Sure.”

Riley took the Scorpioni Tail and laid all the materials on the crafting table. She pulled up her system interface to assist with the refining process.
Standing in front of the massive enchanting table, Riley’s expression turned sharp and focused.
She activated the crafting blueprint. A faint translucent staff outline appeared above the table.
Riley picked up the thunder wood. Electric-powered mechanical arms extended from the table.
Sharp carving tools sliced through the wood. Shavings flew everywhere.
In no time, a smooth staff prototype took shape, carved with twisting vine patterns near the top.
“Time for inlaying.”
Riley carefully slotted the life stone and green spirit crystals into the grooves at the staff’s peak.
Hum-
Bright emerald light burst outward. With the base shape finished, she began adding the extra crafting materials.
She added the Scorpion Tail, the two Spider Monster Eyes, and the five Monster Carapaces one after another.
Fusing the scorpion tail was tricky. It was not listed in the original blueprint.
Luckily, Riley’s high-grade workbench had all the tools she needed. She took extra time to break down the material and merge it into the staff successfully.
“Last step… spirit infusion.”
Riley took a deep breath and pressed the high-tier monster core into the staff.
Boom!
Blinding golden-green light flooded the entire workshop..

The light slowly faded. An ornate staff hovered gently above the crafting table.

its dark golden body was wrapped in glowing green vines. At the very top lay a green gem pusing gently like a beating heart, circled by tiny flickering lightning runes.
Riley grabbed the staff and handed it to Tartking.
“Wow, it’s gorgeous!”
TartKing stroked the staff lovingly. After reading its stats, she tilted her head in confusion.
“What’s this extra mana bar? I don’t have a mana attribute right now.”
PineappleBeer looked up from the nearby anvil, where she was repairing her gear.
“Without mana, every magic skill drains your stamina, same as our physical attacks.
“This extra bar gives you backup mana. It gets consumed first before touching your stamina. You won’t run out of energy if enemies get up close.”
“Oh, I get it now.” Tartking nodded thoughtfully.
She eagerly waved the staff and tested out a few skills.
Everyone was in perfect condition, and they were not inside a dungeon. There was no easy way to feel the staff’s true power through raw numbers.
Riley took off her goggles and stretched her arms.
“The staff’s done. I’m worn out. Today was way too… eventful.
“Still, we’ve got tons of magic crystal ore now. We won’t run low on magic energy anytime soon. The teleportation array will be super useful from here on out.”
