Chapter 329 Warm Night in the Tavern
“The system made these, so of course there’s no brand. Otherwise you guys would fight over which brand tastes better. There’s not much left, so I’m giving them all out. Let’s just have fun.”
The whole tavern went dead silent for one second. Then the crowd exploded into even louder shouts.
Back on Blue Star, these snacks were cheap and easy to find in any supermarket. But out here in the frozen snowlands, they were extremely rare treats. Every single one of these snacks carried the warm nostaigia of their old home.
Riley picked up a can of cola and popped the tab open with a crisp click. The soft fizz of bubbles sounded like perfect music to everyone’s ears.
These people came from different countries and cities on Blue Star. They used to have totally different lives, social ranks, and ages.
Yet in this endless freezing snow world, they huddled together in the warm tavern. Beer in hand, chips to snack on, everyone slowly grew closer to one another.
Chips said, “Yeah, my ID’s Chips, and I actually brought real chips! You can’t chat without chips!”
Stool said, “I got a bunch of extra cushions if anyone needs them.”
SweetSauce said, “I’ll donate some flower pots to spruce up the tavern.”/
Knife added, “I’ll help everyone pour beer. I got the muscles for it.”
As time passed, some members grew tired of drinking and chatting. They decided to head outside to explore.
“Just drinking is boring. I saw a sparring arena next door. Let’s go mess around and fight a little?”
“You’re on! I just crafted some new gear, and I wanna test it out.”
A few members grabbed their weapons and hurried excitedly toward the training ground.
It was not long before the sharp clink of colliding weapons echoed from outside.
Thanks to the guild residence’s special system protection, every fight in the area was marked as a friendly spar. Even a direct sla to the neck only emptied the spar health bar and forced a loss. No real physical damage or pain touched their bodies.
Everyone let loose completely. They fought freely, laughing and teasing each other nonstop.
Back inside the tavern, the atmosphere hit its peak.
As guild leader and vice leader, Riley and Pineapple Beer became the center of everyone’s attention.
“Burger! I gotta toast you!”
“Vice Leader, you can’t skip out! C’mon, drink up!”
The crowd swarmed around them at a round wooden table, pressing in closely.

Riley sighed and picked up her overflowing wooden cup. Sie looked around at all the sincere, eager faces, and her heart softened.
She did not hesitate. She tilted her head back and drank half the wheat-flavored beer in one smooth gulp.
“Hell yeah! Our leader can drink!” Cheers and playful whistles burst out all around her.
After finishing her drink, Riley quickly shot TartKing a subtle look.
TartKing understood instantly. Riley had hit her social limit and needed an excuse to escape.
She stood up at once, holding her cola cup high and shouting, “Let’s play some party games! I’m personally giving out my new mango coconut milk pops!”
“What should we play? Pictionary?”
“How about the undercover spy game?”
Everyone’s attention shifted toward TartKing without a second thought.
While the crowd was distracted, Riley grabbed PineappleBeer’s arm. The two of them ducked low, hugged the wall, and quietly slipped out of the tavern.
