The rumors in the channel grew wilder and more unhinged. Some claimed Riley was eight feet tall with three heads and six arms. Others swore she was a system NPC in disguise. Someone even spread a rumor that she kept a fifty–foot–tall apocalyptic direwolf that breathed hellfire, which was actually the closest

rumor to the truth.

Reading the screen full of fantasy theories, Riley just found it amusing. She couldn’t even be bothered to clarify a single word.

To her, whether she was famous as a “savior” or a “demon lord” didn’t matter. As long as it translated to credibility and made it easier to get orders and make bank, it was good PR. Commission work didn’t care about your moral character; it only cared about your skills.

In exchange, the buyer’s crafting fee would be halved. It was a win–win: the buyer saved on exorbitant fees, and the crafter snagged a piece of high–tier gear.
