TartKing reacted instantly. She tapped her staff against the ground and sent a small treball flying straight for the weak point. PineappleBeer had marked.

The fireball was compact, and its explosion was quiet, but it successfully stalled the Starlight Armor Figure mid–step.

Riley seized that tiny window of time and fully pressed down on the cracked ring’s broken edge.

The ring snapped shut completely.

The sixth rune on the altar lit up.

All three Starlight Armor Figures froze at once, like they’d been locked back into their node restraints.

TartKing still held her greatsword tight, her heart pounding fast.

“That fireball was sick, right?”

Riley stepped back from the cracked ring pillar. “Yeah, it was cool.”

TartKing beamed, fully satisfied with the compliment.

Leaning against her, Pineapple Beer mumbled, “Just a little tiny though.”

TartKing let out a helpless huff. “Pine… you’re feeling this bad and you’re still roasting me?”

Riley opened the third stone box that had just slid out from the altar lamp.

Inside floated three tiny silver light specks, hovering midair like condensed stardust.

TartKing blinked in confusion.

Riley picked up one of the glimmers.

“It’s both.”

PineappleBeer stared at the three specks but didn’t reach for them.

Riley dropped one glimmer directly into her palm.

“Take it.”

TartKing popped another one into her mouth quickly. “Me too. Better terrain sense might save us if we need to run later.”

Chapter 658 The Final Pillar Ignites

The Star Track Glimmer had no taste at all. It felt like a cold flake of snow frelting on the tip of the tongue. Their EXP bars jumped up by a huge margin, a really nice gain for their current level

The bigger change was in their vision. When Riley looked at the silver lines on the ground agam, the chaotic brightness and dimness now had clear layers. She could easily tell which lines were shifting and which would stay stable for a short while.

After absorbing the glimmer, the tight tension between Pineapple Beer’s brows faded a little.

The orbit map shifted again.

With six pillars fully lit, the stable curved line on the map stretched far outward. A distant dark marker started flickering, and behind it, a blurry door–shaped outline flickered in and out of sight.

TartKing leaned in to look. “Is that the exit?”

Riley studied the outline carefully. “Doesn’t look like a regular hall door. Could be some kind of secret encounter entrance.”

PineappleBeer nodded in agreement.

‘Let’s finish the puzzle first.”

Only one pillar remained–the tree branch pillar.

t stood at the very end of the semicircle. Carvings of messy dry branches twisted all the way from the base to the top, with no clea starting point or central pattern like the previous pillars.

As PineappleBeer stared at it, the headache she’d just suppressed flared up again.

Tartking planted her greatsword on the ground to free up her hands, raised her staff, and layered a heal over PineappleBeer.

The silver lines around the tree branch pillar were the most chaotic of all.

Riley stood before the pillar, her newly boosted perception kicking in. She could tell not every branch carving needed activating only three segments held active light flow. The problem was, those three segments swapped positions every few seconds.

PineappleBeer closed her eyes and spoke slowly.

‘Start with the lowest root line. Not the left one, the thin one on the right.”

Riley pressed the exact spot.

The bottom of the tree branch lit up faintly

“Wait,” PineappleBeer said.

Silver light crawled upward along the branch and split into three separate streams at the first fork.

PineappleBeer’s breathing hitched for a split second.

“The middle one.”

Riley pressed the middle fork.
