The two men stood at the door, exchanged a long look, and mentally added it to their wives' tabs.
Inside, Naomi continued egging Hansen on while his two filial daughters peeled a large shrimp and offered it to him.
Hansen hadn't even taken a bite, and his temples were already throbbing.
"My condition has nothing to do with what I eat."
"But it's affecting your diet," Mia pointed out logically.
Hansen couldn't argue with that.
Half an hour later, a huffing Hansen finally kicked the three women out of his room. "Out, out, out! I'll go to the hospital tomorrow. Just get out of here!"
"Dad, wait, I'm not done eating! Keep faking it for a bit longer, kick me out in ten minutes!" Mia, thoroughly enjoying her feast, was reluctant to leave and tried to turn back.
Hansen physically shoved them all out the door. "You are all so annoying!"
Outside the room, Bruce breathed a sigh of relief. "It worked."
Naomi smiled. "Thank goodness for Mia and Molly."
The two partners-in-crime exchanged looks—Mia was still mourning her unfinished food, while Molly deeply regretted not taking two more sips of her milk tea.
Then, they were promptly hauled away by their respective husbands.
Meanwhile, Henry slept soundly on his flight, waking up right as the plane touched down.
It was still dark when they stepped out of the airport.
Back in the airplane bathroom, his uncle had stripped off his light clothes and bundled him up in a thick winter coat, a beanie, and a scarf before they disembarked.
No matter how late it was, Mia and Andre were already waiting at the airport for their precious little boy.
Exiting the terminal, Mia instantly spotted her son waddling like a heavily bundled penguin, his bright eyes darting around as if searching for someone. "Henry!"
"Mama!"
Spotting his parents, Henry pumped his little legs and threw his arms in the air, sprinting toward them.
