The moment Sylvara finished speaking, the area fell into dead silence. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
No one spoke. Sylvara looked around, then shrank back a little. She looked weak and pitiful. “Daddy, Mommy, did I say something wrong?”
Everyone around Sylvara except Simeon suddenly stepped back, putting distance between themselves and her, as if she might turn into a beast and eat them.
Simeon threw his head back and laughed without any concern for his image. “You’re all cowards. You only dare to talk, not act. You even said you’d take me out. I could beat all of you easily.”
“Simeon!” Sylvara reached out and tugged at Simeon. “Is my daddy really that scary?”
“Your daddy isn’t scary. He just has terrible character.” Nina Fischer replied. She was wearing a thin top that showed her chest, short shorts, and a high ponytail. “His personality is so awful that no one can beat it.”
Is that bastard really that unpopular? Does no one like him at all?
Sylvara started to stir trouble. “Since his character is so bad and you all dislike him so much, shouldn’t you work together and kill him?”
No one answered.
Simeon lowered his long leg from the table and lifted Sylvara’s chin with one finger. He voiced what everyone was thinking. “Kid, at first I didn’t believe a cute girl like you could be that bastard’s daughter. Now I do.
“Not only do I believe it, I’m sure you’re his biological daughter. Only a real daughter could inherit such terrible character through genetics.”
Everyone nodded together. “That’s right!”
“Who are you calling a bastard?” Blake’s voice cut in. The next second, she appeared inside the cabin. Wearing a disguise, she walked in while cracking his fingers and smiling faintly. “Come on. Tell me. Who were you calling a bastard?”
The crowd suddenly squeezed together, pressing against each other, as if being even a step away meant getting beaten.
Sylvara stood up and pointed at everyone without sparing a single one. “Daddy, they all said you’re a bastard!”
Everyone was speechless.
She is not innocent at all.
She’s too vicious.
Simeon crossed his arms, leaned his hips against the table, half-sitting as he pressed the issue. “Yeah, they all said you’re a bastard. So, hurry up and deal with them.”
Sylvara’s eyes lit up. “That’s right, Daddy. Hurry and deal with them. Let me see how cool you are. You must look so handsome and formidable.”

“Shut up!” Blake finished cracking her fingers and shook her hands. Like Simeon, she sat on the table, resting an elbow on Sylvara’s shoulder. Her gaze fell on he cowardly bandits. “You jerk really need a lesson. You actually dared to slander me in front of my daughter?”
All the bandits raised their hands at once and shouted together, “No, how would we dare to slander you?”
Blake nodded in satisfaction. “Good. It better stay that way. By the way, I have something to discuss with you.”
Everyone quickly replied, “Go ahead, Boss!”
Blake kept one hand on Sylvara’s shoulder and pointed at her with the other. “My daughter is married, but her husband is pretty nasty. So should we all hit them head-on together, or should you go one by one and fight for her?”
Hit them head-on together?
One-on-one fights?
Sylvara turned her head to look at Blake.
She has to be Agares’ teacher and his real sister-in-law, right?
