Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 98

He couldn't guess what Raymond's ex-wife was thinking about.

Hearing Alexander's words, Scarlett suddenly laughed, "Mr. Smith, do you have some misunderstanding about me?"

"What do you mean?"

Alexander froze.

In the next second, he heard a soft female voice come,' Do you think I lack money?"

"You're not short of money."

Saying that, Alexander paused.

He suddenly remembered that Scarlett didn't take any property with her when she divorced Raymond, which was what Raymond told them.

"What?"

The green light was on. Scarlett restarted the car. She put the phone on speakerphone and waited for Alexander to answer her question.

"Nothing. I want to share the pressure for you."

Scarlett laughed lightly, "Tens of millions of dollars is nothing stressful to me. Only people who covet my

project every day make me stressed."

Alexander understood that Scarlett minced her words to warn him that he shouldn't do that.

He sneered, "Okay. I'm not short of that money. Since you have the confidence to do well, I won't bother you."

Scarlett said faintly, "Hmm."

At once, Alexander felt very angry.

When he hung up the phone, he was so angry that he was almost about to drop the phone.

However, Scarlett was in a better mood as if she had taken revenge on Alexander. After all, he used to mock her.

Alexander touched his nose sheepishly, "In the business world, it's true that more people means fewer risks."

Raymond glanced at him coldly, "She doesn't want you to profit from it."

"Do I lack that money?"

"Otherwise, why do you come to me? You love making complaints so much. Why don't you participate in the roast show?"

Alexander felt that Raymond and Scarlett were really a good match. Both of them had sharp tongues.

He had to change the subject, "Where did you go last night? Did you philander with a woman? Stephen and I called you all night but no one answered."

Speaking of last night, Raymond was upset. He tugged his tie and looked at Alexander, "It's really a pity that you don't be a screenwriter."

"To be honest, I had this idea."

How shameless Alexander was!
