Chapter 108
Chapter 108
Aria’s POV
Isla didn’t see it coming. My palm cracked against her cheek, hard
to make her stumble back a step.
She clutched her face, eyes wide with shock. “You–you uncivilized fo
How dare you?!”
She lunged for my hair, but Grayson’s sharp voice cut through the air. “Enough, Isla!”
“Grayson! Did you not see what she just did to me? For the love of the Mo
decent parents would never-”
Goddess, I’ve never met such a crude, savage girl. Any woman raised by
“So now you’re attacking my family?” I snapped. “Yeah you grew up in your so–called noble family, but that didn’t stop you from becoming an obnoxious bitch, did it?”
Her face twisted with fury.
“OK that’s enough,” Grayson said coldly, his gray eyes narrowing at Isla. “Right now, I’d rather hear what you and Otto have to say about Malik’s claims.”
“Grayson,” Isla clenched her fists, tears circling in her eyes. “You can’t seriously believe that boy. He hasn’t even graduated from med school. What does he know about healing? Everything he said was obviously slander to cover up his affair with Aria. If you believe him, you’re a fool.”
“There is no affair! For fuck’s sake!” Malik cried out loud, just as pissed. “Someone just go get the book Warriors, Their Wolves, and Related Disorders! We can take apart Alpha Otto’s equipment right here and see if it’s actually for treating neurotoxins.”
“There’s no need for that. We already know about your little fling so you can stop pretending right now,” Isla’s words fired off like bullets, her gaze locked on Malik. “Grayson, I can show you even more surveillance footage of these two. You’ll see this man even went into Aria’s bedroom. They were in there for quite some time. You can imagine what they had been doing. The
were definitely banging behind your back!”
“We were discussing how to expose your crimes, you sick psycho! And for fuck’s sake–‘quite some time‘? It was only five minutes!” I shouted.
My chest burned with anger.
I hated being falsely accused. If my wolf wasn’t so weak right now, I’d shift and rip her head off without hesitation.
But now wasn’t the time to waste energy arguing with her.
She was too good at twisting words and muddying the waters. Arguing with her would get me nowhere.
I needed solid evidence.
So I drew in a deep breath and turned to Grayson. “That device is in n the treatment room. Let’s dismantle it, and everything will be clear. It’s that simple. And it’s all I’m asking.”
He looked at me, and I met his gaze, hoping he could see how serious, how desperate I was. In the meantime, I was praying internally:
Don’t fall into Isla’s trap.
Don’t let jealousy cloud your judgment.
Do the right thing.
“Grayson, have I ever once let you down?” Isla’s trembling voice broke in. She was crying now, gazing at him with those beautiful, teary eyes. “All the time we’ve spent together… we’ve known each other for over a decade. Don’t tell me you have no trust in me at all.”
The air fell silent.
Chapter 108
Both of us were watching him, holding our breath. His face was unreadable, his silence heavy.
And then an unexpected person broke the silence. It was Malik.
“I just don’t get why we can’t just dismantle the machine if it’s that simple,” he said loudly, glaring at Otto, “Unless someone’s afraid of what we might
find.”
“That machine cost fifty million you fucking idiot!”
Malik flushed with embarrassment.
“I have the money,” Grayson said suddenly, his voic
barked. “Do you have the money to pay for it if you break it?”
d and decisive. “Bring it to the main hall. We’ll do it right now.”
I let out a sharp breath of relief. Isla gasped, her
Iwith panic. “Grayson, are you insane? You’re really going to let them play you like this?!”
His gaze turned icy. “Stop arguing with me, Isla. Or I’ll start wondering about your role in all this.”
Her lips pressed into a thin line. She looked tense. “Th
let
me help dismantle it-”
“No!” I cut in sharply. “Neither you, nor Malik, nor Otto should go near it. Let a Red Stone Pack soldier do the job. Let’s make sure it’s absolutely fair.”
Hate flashed in Isla’s eyes. And then Otto let out a furious roar. “You fucking troublemaking bitch! I should’ve never brought you to this facility. I should’ve let you die and rot in the fucking hell!”
“Gag him,” Grayson said coldly. “Then throw him in the dungeon.”
Soldiers rushed forward, hauling Otto up and shoving a cloth into his mouth. Isla’s face turned deathly pale as she stepped back, and then Grayson’s voice followed:
“Escort Lady Isla to her room.”
“What?!” Isla spun toward him, disbelief written all over her face. “You’re locking me up as well? Seriously?!”
“Not locking you up–just keeping everyone apart until everything is clear. I’ll personally watch over Aria myself,” Grayson said evenly, motioning for the
soldiers to take her.
She shot me a glare as she walked pass me. There’s pure venom in her eyes. But I wasn’t afraid of her this time. I just grinned and pulled a face at her, and the way her expression twisted made me feel instantly better.
Malik had broke free from the ropes by now. He hurried over, both excited and nervous, and stuck out a hand to Grayson:
“A–Alpha Grayson, I’ve heard so much about you. It’s…such an honor-”
Grayson interrupted him without mercy. “If anything you said today turns out to be a lie, I’ll skin you alive.”
The color drained from Malik’s face instantly. That poor guy. I tugged on Grayson’s sleeve, muttering, “Why scare him?”
“That wasn’t a scare. I actually meant it,” he snorted, pulling me close. “How long will dismantling take?”
Malik swallowed nervously. “If we’re quick, a few hours. By tomorrow morning at the latest.”
A glint of steel flickered in Grayson’s gray eyes. “Good. By morning, I want to know exactly who’s lying to me.”
Third Person POV
Isla paced the length of her room, biting her lip, her mind a swirl of anxiety.

Chapter 108
Finally, she made up her mind and marched to the door and yanked it open.
“Lady Isla.”
The guards at her door greeted her, bowing slightly.
She gave them a dazzling smile. “Thank you for your hard work, boys. I just need to go downstairs for dinner. You can take a break at the meantime
She stepped forward, but they blocked her path.
“I’m sorry Lady Isla, but Alpha Grayson was clear. You’re to stay in your room at all time until morning. We’ll have a maid bring your meal,” one of them said sternly.
Anger flickered across her face, but before she could argue, a man in captain’s armor approached from down the hall.
“Shift change. I’ll take it from here.” The captain said.
“Yes, Captain Glen.”
The two sliders left. Captain Glen waited until they were gone, then turned to Isla with an exciting look on his face:
“Luna Isla! Do you remember me?”
“How could I not?” Isla’s smile turned warm as she clasped his hands. “You used to be one of my personal guards when I was married to Grayson. It’s good to see you again, Glen. But please, don’t call me Luna–I’ve never officially been given that title.”
“You’re the most graceful, beautiful, and kind woman I’ve ever met. The only one worthy of standing at Alpha Grayson’s side. In my heart, you are the one, true Luna.” Glen paused, and his jaw tightened with anger. “That little cunt Alpha Grayson’s with now is a total joke.”
Isla squeezed his hands. “I won’t question Alpha’s…current taste. But I need you to do me a favor. It’d really help my situation.”
“Anything, my lady. Anything.”
She whispered in his ear. Glen nodded instantly, draping his cloak around her shoulders before leading her out of the room.
They made their way to the dungeon. Glen dismissed the guards there, then said to her in a low voice, “You have twenty minutes, my lady.”
“Of course, thank you Glen.”
Isla nodded and hurried to the farthest cell.
“Otto!”
Otto rushed to the bars, his face twisted with rage. “Fuck, Isla! Look at me! I’m locked up in my own fucking dungeon! What kind of fucked–up world is
this?!”
“I know, I know…I’m here now,” she said quickly in a low voice. “Calm down and we’ll figure something out…”
“You have to kill that bitch, Isla!” he roared.
“Lower your voice,” she frowned. “You think I don’t want her dead? But I cannot get my hands dirty. It’s too risky. My original plan was to turn her into a wolf–less freak and end this cleanly. But now…I guess we’ll have to come up with an alternative way to get rid of her.”
“No–No you still don’t get it. YOU HAVE TO KILL HER. That is the ONLY WAY! Do you even know who she is?!”
Isla froze. “What are you talking about Otto?
“I saw it…I saw it in her memories! Aria Collins isn’t just some small–town girl you think. She’s a fucking noble from Frostpine Pack! She’s got Alpha blood. And more than that… she’s the little girl who almost got engaged to Grayson when they were child. She’s his first love!”

when can we expect more chapters?...
Yay chapter 210 🙌🏻 I hope the next few chapters come quicker 🙏 even one a week would be great. I’m just imagining the conversation Aria will have to have with Grayson. Like to be honest there is so many reasons not to even think about marrying Grayson. * She wasn’t good enough before but due to this unexpected twist of fate she is all of a sudden good enough. * The obvious betrayal. She gave him her whole heart & soul. He didn’t just break her heart but shattered it. * She asked if he believed her about Isla & he said it didn’t matter. Ummm excuse me it 100% matters. If he doesn’t believe her then there is no trust or faith in her. *He said that he didn’t want to get married or have children but all of a sudden he does?? She would have to make sure that he actually wants to marry her & have children. Not just because he might lose her. She wouldn’t want his to resent her later because he got pushed into a corner. Plus he did say he would Especially not marry Aria. *Grayson is not an ally yet & doesn’t have Alpha Thalira’s favour. Eren would be a good match. They could learn to love each other & he is willing to fully support her as an Alpha (if she becomes Alpha) Even Zane would be a great Match. He genuinely loves her & would 100% support her & make her happy. I think Grayson has a lot of deep reflection to do, realise his true feelings & convey them to Aria. I think he might have to take a more submissive approach to be with Aria. God so much to consider & I’m super excited to get the next few chapters to see who her suitors are...
