Tempted By My Ex's Brother-in-Law (Aria and Grayson) novel Chapter 194

**Chapter 194**

Ana’s POV

At first, a jolt of surprise shot through me, but I quickly steadied my breath and composed myself.

It was clear that nothing had transpired between Lance and me. I had merely thrown that out there to provoke Tasmin, to see her reaction. But I had no intention of justifying myself to Grayson. Who did he think he was, prying into my personal affairs?

I turned my back on him, redirecting my focus to Tasmin. “Where was I? Ah, yes. My advice is to steer clear of that club. Lance is done with you. It’s finished between you two.”

The fury radiating from Tasmin was palpable. She raised her hand, poised to slap me across the face. But before she could act, someone intervened with startling speed.

Grayson strode forward, seizing Tasmin’s wrist with a firm grip and shoving her aside. She collided with the wall, the impact echoing through the room as a pained groan escaped her lips.

In the next moment, Grayson’s hand closed around mine.

“Come with me,” he commanded, his voice low and tense.

I stumbled slightly, caught off guard by his forceful demeanor.

What on earth was he doing?! I could feel the weight of everyone’s gaze upon us, their eyes glinting with anticipation for the unfolding drama. Hadn’t we agreed to maintain some distance in public?

He yanked me toward the exit, but Alpha Thalira stepped forward, her presence a formidable barrier.

“Alpha Grayson, we discussed this,” she said, her tone grave and unwavering. “I cannot allow you to have any further dealings with my granddaughter. We cannot afford any more scandals involving the two of you.”

Grayson’s gaze was unwavering as he met her challenge.

The light from the chandelier cast deep shadows across his face, enhancing his sharp features and making him appear even more intimidating.

“Alpha Thalira, the scant respect I hold for you stems from your position as a respected Alpha and, more importantly, as Aria’s grandmother. However, if you think you can dictate my actions, you are sorely mistaken.”

The frown on Alpha Thalira’s face deepened.

Grayson raised an eyebrow, a hint of defiance in his posture. “And if you persist in blocking my path, so be it. I’ll have my conversation with Aria right here. I assure you, it won’t be a pleasant sight. It will undoubtedly generate the very scandals you dread. So, what’s your decision?”

A brief silence enveloped the room, thick with tension.

Finally, Alpha Thalira stepped aside, her eyes burning with anger as we passed, as if I were the source of all her troubles.

Seriously! Why was she directing her ire at me? I had done everything in my power to keep my distance from Grayson. It was him who refused to let me go.

As we exited the dining hall, he dragged me down the corridor with an urgency that left me bewildered. He found a random room and shoved me inside, and I realized it was a cramped storage closet, filled with the stale scent of dust and neglect.

I was livid. Did he honestly think I was some submissive Omega he could command? “What is your problem this time, Grayson? I’m fed up with your unreasonable—”

Before I could finish my sentence, his hand clamped down on my shoulder, pinning me against the wall with a force that made my heart race. His other hand lifted my skirt and yanked down my panties.

I was momentarily stunned. The next instant, I began to thrash against him, kicking out in desperation. “Fuck you, Grayson! Get the hell away from me!”

“Silence,” he replied, his voice icy.

He leaned in closer, his gray eyes locking onto mine with an intensity that set my pulse racing. The small space was saturated with his aggressive pinewood scent, an intoxicating mix of danger and allure.

“If you want everyone passing by to know you’re in here with me, then go ahead. Keep yelling. I’m perfectly fine with that.”

I froze, the defiance in me wavering under the heat of his gaze.

His hand slipped between my legs, and suddenly, his thumb pressed firmly against my clit. The sensation was electric! An involuntary moan escaped my lips before I could stifle it with a bite to my lip.

“You slept with that man whore?” he demanded, his tone sharp and accusatory.

I glared at him, my indignation flaring. “Don’t you dare call Lance that! He’s not a—”

But my protest was cut off as his fingers slid between my folds, his fingertip teasingly brushing my entrance. A shiver ran through me, and I felt myself trembling.

“You’re dry. Doesn’t seem like you just had sex. Well…” He let out a low chuckle. “…you’re not so dry anymore.”

Indeed, I was not.

“After you, Miss Collins,” he said, his smile infuriatingly charming.

I shot him a furious glare as I stepped out, my heart still racing.

But my legs felt unsteady, and after that intense climax, an even stronger craving and emptiness surged within me.

I longed to be filled completely, to feel him inside me… just like before…

I bit my lip hard, trying to quell the fire burning within me.

The sexual tension was palpable, thickening the air around us. I had no idea when it would finally erupt. I just hoped it would be later, much later… preferably never…

We returned to the dining room, and I took my seat, while Grayson settled beside Alpha Thalira.

Without missing a beat, Alpha Thalira turned to him and said, “You returned just in time, Alpha Grayson. Tasmin just proposed an excellent idea. She suggested that since you’re here, and we’ve just achieved a great victory against the rogues, we should organize a grand military parade to showcase our military strength.”

A grand parade?

I was taken aback. I glanced up and saw Tasmin beaming triumphantly from across the table.

It was clear why she was advocating for a parade. She wanted to flaunt her authority, to assert that she was still in control of the Frostpine Pack’s army.

“As a matter of fact, I believe we should invite as many Alphas and Gammas from other packs as we can. They would all want to witness the might of an army that has defeated the rogues,” Tasmin suggested, her excitement palpable.

A cold smile crept onto my lips.

What a perfect opportunity.

I had been waiting for a chance to expose her, and she had just handed it to me on a silver platter.

After all, what better stage to unveil all of Tasmin’s lies than at a grand military parade?

Let this monumental event become her own damn grave.
