Chapter 80
Third Person POV
The hospital corridor was silent as death.
Grayson’s parents stared at him, stunned.
“Y-You’ve lost your damn mind.” The old Alpha pointed a trembling finger at him. “Doing something like this for a fucking woman… No. No way. We won’t allow it-”
“Well then,” Grayson said, his voice low and dark. “Try me.”
His eyes turned pitch black.
In the next second, his aura erupted like a violent storm, sweeping through the hallway and knocking everyone off balance.
Delilah clutched her chest and let out a heart–wrenching scream. She could feel the bond to the pack being ripped apart.
That could only mean one thing: she was being exiled.
Only an Alpha had the power to do that.
“No–no, stop…” she sobbed in pain.
Her parents were all pale and shaking. They doubled over in pain as well. Yeah they were once the Alpha and Luna of this pack. But the one sitting on the throne now was their son. So not even they could resist the authority of the current Alpha.
“Enough… enough…” the old Luna gasped. “Grayson… stop…”
The crushing force suddenly vanished.
Everyone swayed on their spots, panting for breath, their faces soaked in cold sweat,
“I told you already. I meant what I said.”
Grayson said coldly, towering over his father. “In the past I wasn’t sure about how I felt about Aria, so you took advantage of my doubt. I let you people gang up on Aria. But not anymore. No one touches her again…Not even my so–called family.”
His father slowly lifted his head to his son, his eyes burning with bitter hatred.
“You… you are a freak, you know that? I always knew there was something wrong with you growing up. You’ve never felt normal emotions,
never loved your family…No normal person acts like you.”
“Dad! How can you say that?!” Delilah cried, her voice trembling.
But Grayson didn’t flinch. There was no pain in his eyes. Only a faint, icy smile at the corners of his lips.
“I was your precious son. Your golden boy. You were so proud because I was known as the strongest werewolf ever born,” Grayson said in a sarcastic voice. “But now the moment I stop obeying you, suddenly I’m the monster? What kind of parents are you?”
“We did everything we could as your parents!” the old Luna shouted, her voice sharp with a hint of fear and disgust. “We raised you. We educated you. But how were we supposed to know you’d grow into this dark, cold, and cruel thing? This is all your doing. Not ours!”
Grayson narrowed his eyes. “You’re probably right about my darkness. But you never tried to help me from the very beginning. You never

tried to understand it. You only enjoyed the power I brought to this family. The status. The glory. But she–Aria–she’s the only one who ever truly cared about me. So don’t blame me for choosing her over you,”
His parents looked furious.
They opened their mouths to speak again, but this time, Delilah’s voice cut through the tension.
“That’s enough!” she snapped, glaring at her parents. “No matter what, Aria saved my life today. I owe it to her. And I’m not going to let you stand there and keep her time. Now come with me!”
Without giving her parents a chance to argue, she grabbed them forcibly and dragged them out of the hallway.
Grayson exhaled slowly, forcing down the storm raging inside him.
Then he turned back to the doctor.
“Tell me what else you need to save her.”
“Right now, the most urgent thing is blood,” the doctor said with a tight frown. “As I was saying, we have no matching blood for Miss Collins in our bank. We’ll need donations from her immediate family.”
Grayson nodded and signaled to Nora. “You heard the doctor. Go find her parents and grandmother. Get them tested. Meanwhile, I’ll contact White River Pack. I want their best healer flown in immediately.”
“Yes, Alpha.” Nora answered swiftly.
“Please hurry,” the doctor added. “Miss Collins‘ condition is more critical than you think… All we’re doing is keeping her barely stable.”
Nora rushed off.
Grayson walked to the window and pulled out his phone. He scrolled down his contact list.
He had the numbers of every major Alpha and powerful figure in the world, including White River Pack’s Alpha.
He dialed the number.
No answer.
He tried again. Still busy.
Frustration started to twist in his chest.
His father was right about one thing–their relationship with the White River Pack was a total disaster.
Years ago, Grayson’s father had tried to invade the White River Pack in order to gain access to their powerful healer. His father failed, and the two packs had been enemies ever since.
And now… because of his father’s idiocy, Aria might have to pay the price.
Thinking about this, Grayson’s grip on the phone tightened until his knuckles turned white.
The rage inside him built fast, black, and suffocating. He recognized this feeling. He was losing control again. But right now, the only person who could calm him down was lying on an operating table, bleeding out.
I let Jonathan off too easy, he thought.

Ripping off that bastard’s limbs was far from enough.
He should have skinned him alive. Locked that fucking bastard in a pit and let him rot. Let him scream in agony every day and night, until death became a mercy.
That was the price he should’ve paid for pointing a gun at Aria.
His wolf snarled inside his mind, pacing restlessly, slamming into walls in rage. Its eyes weren’t gold anymore. They had become glowing blood–red at some point.
His wolf wanted to kill.
They both did.
Slaughter was the only thing that could numb the fury now clawing at his insides.
“…Alpha?”
A voice jolted Grayson back to reality.
Nora had returned. She stared at him, horror flickering on her face. “Alpha, are you alright?”
Only then did Grayson realize–he had crushed the bricks with his bare hands. His palm was sliced open, blood dripping onto the floor.
“You–you’re hurt,” she whispered in horror. “Let me get a nurse-”
“No.” Grayson shook off the blood, ignoring the sting. “Have you contacted her family yet?”
Nora looked down, looking reluctant. “I tried. Her grandmother was closest, but they’re not a match. We tracked down her father in Frostpine Pack and took a sample of his blood… but unfortunately, he’s not compatible either.”
Grayson clenched his fists, his blood dripping down faster.
The Moon Goddess wasn’t protecting his girl tonight. And that made him furious.
He was desperately in need of some good news.
“Then find her mother. What are you still waiting for?” he said darkly.
Nora flinched. “That’s actually… what I came to report. We can’t find her mother.”
Grayson froze.
“What do you mean you can’t find her?” His voice turned sharp. “Expand the search. Dig deeper. If she were ever alive on this planet, you
would find her.”
His people could track anyone.
That was the power of his influence.
He didn’t believe anyone could just vanish under his radar.
But Nora’s voice trembled. “T–that’s the problem, Alpha. I’ve used every resource we have. All we found was that her mother’s name is Jolene and she once lived in Frostpine Pack. But after she ran away from home… she disappeared. Completely.”
That was impossible.

Even dead people left a trail.
So the only explanation was… someone even more powerful than him had wiped Jolene off the map.
But that’s even more unlikely. Aria had always said she came from a small town, a broken family. Her parents shouldn’t have that kind of
power.
He frowned, deep in thought. Then he said coldly, “Keep looking. I don’t care who’s hiding her. Find it.”
“Yes, Alpha.”
“What about Jace Carter?” he asked. “Give me an update.”
Last night, he went back to check on Aria after the gunshot. So that cunning bastard slipped away again.
But they were on Red Stone Pack territory. There weren’t many places for Jace to run.
“We’re still pursuing him,” Nora said. “But he vanished near the border. We believe–w–we believe he may have had help…”
CRACK!
The light above them flickered. then exploded.
Nora gasped, stumbling backward.
Grayson’s Alpha aura rolled through the air like a storm, choking the oxygen out of the room.
“You’ve brought me too many bad news today, Nora.” He stared at her, his voice low, terrifying. “Jace’s got another help? That’s just ridiculous. His only ally is dead. I tore his fucking head off myself.”
“W–We’re not sure yet, Alpha. But whoever it was, they were good. No trace left behind.”
“That’s not an answer.” Grayson’s eyes darkened. “I want Jace Carter found and brought back.”
Nora nodded quickly. “I’m on it. I’ll send out more men, more teams. We’ll find him.”
“GO.” Grayson growled.
As she hurried down the hallway, Grayson stood alone, his face dark.
Jace’s escape, his unknown accomplice, the mystery of Aria’s mother…Suddenly, there were too many secrets.
And he hated this feeling.

when can we expect more chapters?...
Yay chapter 210 🙌🏻 I hope the next few chapters come quicker 🙏 even one a week would be great. I’m just imagining the conversation Aria will have to have with Grayson. Like to be honest there is so many reasons not to even think about marrying Grayson. * She wasn’t good enough before but due to this unexpected twist of fate she is all of a sudden good enough. * The obvious betrayal. She gave him her whole heart & soul. He didn’t just break her heart but shattered it. * She asked if he believed her about Isla & he said it didn’t matter. Ummm excuse me it 100% matters. If he doesn’t believe her then there is no trust or faith in her. *He said that he didn’t want to get married or have children but all of a sudden he does?? She would have to make sure that he actually wants to marry her & have children. Not just because he might lose her. She wouldn’t want his to resent her later because he got pushed into a corner. Plus he did say he would Especially not marry Aria. *Grayson is not an ally yet & doesn’t have Alpha Thalira’s favour. Eren would be a good match. They could learn to love each other & he is willing to fully support her as an Alpha (if she becomes Alpha) Even Zane would be a great Match. He genuinely loves her & would 100% support her & make her happy. I think Grayson has a lot of deep reflection to do, realise his true feelings & convey them to Aria. I think he might have to take a more submissive approach to be with Aria. God so much to consider & I’m super excited to get the next few chapters to see who her suitors are...
