“She was,” her smirk grew wider, “I jumped her. I punched her face and managed to get Tadgh’s gun off him and fire a shot

at her.”

“Yes, I did. I was pretty disappointed actually. After all the time you and I have spent at the gun range, and I missed my shot, but I was also being held back by Kiefer and wrestling44

times over the last seven years. “You cut me off, not the other

“We were supposed to go into business together and you fucked off on me to get the dick.”

“Lower your voice,” she smacked at Astra and shot a look to see if Egan heard her. His eyes were not as squeezed shut now and she watched him to see if he fell asleep.
