“Barry, the guy you shot in the face?” she rolled her eyes.

“Yes, Barry the guy I shot in the face because he disrespected my wife.” He rubbed the back of his neck, “I need to deal with Finn but he’s on a run right now. Aoife and my mother are both under house arrest back home.”

“Ooh what a punishment.” She scoffed bitterly.

“I don’t think you understand house arrest to the O’Reilly family. They are in my father’s dungeon, along with my mother’s latest boyfriend. They aren’t getting anything other than oatmeal and water and only enough to keep them from starving to death. It’s cold. There is no heating. My father won’t kill them yet because my mother birthed me and Tadgh but he sure as fuck will make them uncomfortable.”
