She opened the bathroom door and moved to stand in front of the mirror and started laughing. She turned back to Tadgh. “Holy shit, Tadgh. Look at me!”

“I’m covered in blood and guts.”

She lifted a strand of her hair which hand goop dangling from it. “It’s in my hair.”

“There is a shower, babe. Get cleaned up.”

She looked behind the door and noted the small shower stall.

She grinned at him, “it’s very utilitarian.”

“It’s made for getting cleaned up after I’ve beat someone into the ground, love, not for long bathing experiences.”

“It’s also not built for two.”

He quirked an eyebrow, “were you thinking of asking me to shower with you?”

“It crossed my mind until I saw the size of it.”

“Huh,” he grew serious at the possibility. “I think we could fit.”

“I don’t think you barely fit in there alone without me.”

“I’d like to try.” His eyes were light and teasing.

“Nah., I have a feeling our first time is going to require more than a two–by–two shower stall.”

could stop him, he undid the front clasp on her bra.
