Chapter 276 Shadows in the Hallway
They had simply remained stationed out of plain sight.

With a single phone call from him, a squad of imposing private security guards stormed into Raymond’s hospital suite, hauling the uninvited trespassers out into the hall.
“I’m warning you–stay the hell away from the Sinclair family’s room.”
Eugene’s eyes were icy as his gaze pinned the middle–aged man leading the group.
“Who do you think you are?!”
The middle–aged man glared back in flustered indignation.
Staring at Eugene, he demanded angrily. “Who the hell are you to stick your nose into our business with the Sinclairs?”
“Eugene Carter, CEO of Carter Group. You’re welcome to challenge me anytime, but right now, get out.”
Eugene gestured to the security detail at his flank, ordering them to clear the intruders out.
He had only stepped away for a moment to collect sample containers for the elder, returning to find these vultures agitating Raymond into a boiling rage.
His expression was grim–failing to shield the old man from such harassment was a failure on his watch.
With that, he had his men drag the interlopers out by force.
Hearing his identity, the intruders froze in visible shock.
Recovering his senses, the middle–aged man stammered in confusion, “The CEO of Carter Group? Why are you meddling in the Sinclairs‘ affairs?”
Their two corporate empires didn’t even share overlapping interests, did they?
As that thought crossed his mind, Isabella and Julian hurried onto the scene.
“Gordon Keller, what the hell do you think you’re doing?! Didn’t I tell you never to harass our family again?!” Julian roared in fury.
Clearly, he knew this middle–aged man all too well.
As Julian shouted, Gordon’s brows knitted before he tilted his chin upward with an arrogant smirk. “Mr. Sinclair, as I told you before, the Keller family is offering you a damn good deal.
“The moment you agree to sell those old patents, we can book Professor Andre Grant for Mr. Sinclair’s surgery immediately.”
“You know full well how legendary Professor Grant is in this medical field.
“Say the word, and we’ll lock in the surgical theater today.

Finchin
“Are you really telling me a dusty, dead–end concept your firm couldn’t even make work is worth more than the old man’s life?
Before he could finish, Raymond’s venomous roar exploded from within the suite, “Tell him to get lost!
“Shut that barking dog up!
“You want my life’s work? Over my dead body!
“Hell no! Even after I’m six feet under, nobody touches my patents unless you want to desecrate my grave!
“Get the f*ck out!”
His voice thundered with rage, accompanied by a flying pillow that smacked hard against the doorframe with a muffled thud.
“Grandfather, please don’t upset yourself.”
Isabella soothed him before stepping forward with a frosty expression, “You need to leave this instant.
“Sinclair Enterprises will never sell you its technology.
“Isn’t that right, Eugene?”
Isabella turned her gaze to Eugene.
Though unaware of the full context, Eugene answered without a heartbeat of hesitation, “That’s right.”
Whatever the Kellers wanted from the Sinclairs, as long as Isabella opposed it, he would back her to the
hilt
“So, get lost.”
Isabella’s voice was sharp enough to cut glass.
She stood squarely before Gordon, her petite frame radiating a suffocating, lethal aura of sheer dominance.
Intimidated by the overwhelming pressure in her eyes, Gordon instinctively took a step back, blurting hurriedly, “Think it through carefully!
“Mr. Sinclair, you won’t get another opportunity like this!
“The Keller family is pulling strings through our private rapport with Professor Grant to make this happen!
been warned.”
