A Superpowered Warrior in a Fake Heiress’s Body
Chapter 94 A Total Doll
Back when she regularly deployed to active warzones, she had camped out in the absolute worst conditions imaginable.
Finned
There were times when she had to dive headfirst into muddy trenches and stay submerged for a whole day just to ambush a rogue beast.
She blinked, open–mouthed, ready to tell Margaret that she wasn’t picky at all and would gladly take any room, but the older woman cut her off instantly.
“Don’t you dare tell me ‘anything is fine!
“Bella, I raised two boys who are basically tight–lipped statues. Every time I ask them a question, it’s always ‘I don’t know‘ or ‘whatever‘.
“You better not pick up those terrible habits.
“We girls need to be vocal and stand our ground.

“So don’t hold back with me, okay?
“Now, how do you feel about this early twentieth–century vintage aesthetic?
“If it’s not your vibe, we can move right along to the next one.”
Seeing the sheer excitement bubbling over from her høst, Isabella decided to bite her tongue rather than
kill the mood.
Even though she could sleep literally anywhere, letting the older woman have her fun was a small price to pay, and Isabella wasn’t about to rain on Margaret’s parade.
She was never the type to brush off or ruin someone’s genuine kindness.
To her, people’s true intentions–whether good or bad–showed up as clear as day.
When someone showed her genuine warmth, Isabella always paid it back in full.
But if someone crossed her with malice, she would put them down without a shred of hesitation.
So, she let Margaret enthusiastically drag her from room to room until, after putting on a show of deep thought, she finally pointed toward an urban chic room with clean, minimalist décor.
“Aw, but I really thought that pink Barbie princess theme with the canopy bed was absolutely adorable.”.
Margaret let out a melodramatic sigh, with a sly sideways look to gauge Isabella’s reaction.
Isabella caught the tiny hint but kept a stone–cold poker face, absolutely refusing to take the bait.
No way.
Absolutely not.

Chapter 94 & Total Doll
Sed
It’s way too pink and frilly.
I can’t picture myself sleeping in a room that looks like a giant bottle of Pepto–Bismol exploded.
Dealing with Hannah’s endless lace and ruffles back at the Powell house is already more than enough.
I’ll just stick to my guns and remain a fiercely practical tomboy.
Sorry, Margaret.
Isabella offered a silent apology in her head.
Seeing that Isabella wouldn’t budge an inch, Margaret immediately realized her usual cute, pouting tactics were completely useless.
“Well, I guess girls really are made of tougher stuff.
“If I used that voice on my two sons, they would’ve caved in a heartbeat.
“You really are something special, Bella.”
Isabella stared back, completely lost as to how this counted as a victory.
Is this seriously something worth celebrating?
After a brief pause, she replied with brutal, tomboyish honesty, “I doubt Eugene would cave that easily. He seems to have a pretty strong spine.”
Isabella recalled how she had warned Eugene not to short–sell the Hanks Group, only to find out he had already decided against it entirely on his own without needing her input.
Clearly, Margaret was exaggerating his weakness.
“Haha, Bella, you are too precious. Why do you take everything so literally?”
Margaret giggled, her eyes crinkling with delight, “Of course he has a spine–just not with me.
“He wouldn’t dream of breaking his dear old mother’s heart over a tiny favor.
“We women have to know how to leverage our natural charm, got it?”
Margaret gave her a playful wink, “Look, sweetie, if you’re feeling shaken up or overwhelmed right now, you can tell me. I promise I won’t judge.
“You’ve already been incredibly brave and strong tonight.”
While Isabella was looking at the rooms earlier, Arthur had pulled Margaret aside to pass along Detective Wayne’s warning.
Hearing about what the poor girl went through had made Margaret’s heart ache so intensely her chest felt night.
