Tammie paused his dialing. "Can't it be postponed?"

The project at the site had already been delayed by nearly two weeks due to a sudden torrential downpour. Now that it was finally nearing completion, Victoria just wanted to finish it as quickly as possible to prevent any further complications.

Tammie was a workaholic himself, so when Victoria cited work as her reason, he couldn't argue.

He turned to look at Elias.

"No time."

Tammie was speechless. He hadn't even asked yet.

Tammie threw his hands up in a gesture of resignation. "Alright then, looks like we'll have to wait until next time."

"Miss Sanger, I look forward to our next meeting! Would you mind if I gave you a hug?" Tammie didn't try to detain her further, graciously opening his arms.

Victoria froze for a moment. Although she knew it was just a basic courtesy, her first instinct was to refuse.

But before she could say anything, two ice-cold gazes fell upon her.

Victoria's lips tightened. After a few seconds of silence, she maintained a polite smile, extended her hand, and deliberately sidestepped his question. "Mr. James, I also look forward to seeing you again!"

Tammie smiled knowingly, lowered his arms, and shook her outstretched hand. He then leaned close to her ear and whispered, "The earrings are beautiful!"

Elias didn't deny it. "Agree to partner with The Sanger Group, and the ownership of Central Plaza is yours. If there are no problems, sign it."
