The Alpha: Claiming His Enemy's Daughter novel Chapter 470

Chapter 470: ANOTHER DEATH

Cane growled, as he shifted into his human form. He couldn’t believe it. This man could suppress the lycan. He could feel Lu fall quiet in his mind, as he gained his control over his body back.

Cane dropped to his knees, panting heavily, as he could feel the intense fight between the lycan and the four hundred royal warriors affected him so much. The after effects of it came back to him now and he had felt a familiar feeling before, when he used the lycan’s power to get his revenge on the Blue Moon pack.

The very day the lycan battled them out. It completely drained him.

"Father..." Lady Cyan approached the old man, while Leon was dumbstruck to see the lycan defeated so easily.

On the other hand, the King still had this angry look on his face, he didn’t seem to care about his surroundings or what was transpiring around him.

"Father, thank you for coming..."

Yet, before Lady Cyan could finish her words, a harsh slap landed on her face. It was shocking coming from that skinny old man, and the force made Lady Cyan stumble back and fall to the ground.

"How dare you expose yourself like this?!" The man barked at his daughter. "Such a disappointment. How long will you disappoint me, huh? Can’t you use your mind a little bit better?!"

Lady Cyan held her cheek, as she tried not to cry. She felt blood pooling inside of her mouth.

"You can’t even do something right!"

"Father... I... I meant good with this plan. You need to hear me out first..." Lady Cyan felt like she was a child again, where she used to hear constant disapproval from her father and how he wished he had one more son, instead of a daughter. "That woman, that runt, who is his mate..."

"Shut up!" The old man then looked around him and his eyes landed on Leon, as he whispered to him. "Kill yourself."

Leon looked terrified when he heard that whisper, especially when his hand moved on its own and his claws emerged from the tips of his fingers.

"No... no... no... please..." Leon looked mortified when he failed to stop himself from clawing his own neck, as blood gushed out of his wounds. "No... please. I will be your loyal servant... you will need me..."

However, despite what Leon said, he couldn’t stop the spell. He let out an ear splitting scream followed by a gurgling sound when his mouth filled with so much blood.

Cane watched everything unfold and knew he would be next if he couldn’t find a way out of this situation. Whoever this man was, he was bad news.

Once Leon’s body fell to the ground and he no longer had the strength to make a clean cut on his own, his body jolted for a few seconds, before he went completely still. He was dead.

He had met with Jace before and they managed to sneak out from the barricade of the Blue Moon warriors and the royal warriors without them noticing anything.

The terrain of this area was still within their knowledge, they wouldn’t know this place as much as they did, especially the Goffa mountain.

At that moment, Redmond was trying to get to the other Blue Moon Warriors, but he still couldn’t get through Lyle. It was not clear whether he was with those people, or he went somewhere else in a small group.

"Let’s split into two groups," Ethan said. "Aliana, you lead the second group, take Haco with you as well and follow me."

In that way, if there was an ambush or something went wrong with the first group, the second group could be their back up.

"Boy, you come with me," Ethan said, as he patted Joel’s shoulder and then shifted into his beast, followed by the other seven young warriors, while the rest followed Aliana’s lead.

The deeper they went into the mountain, the stronger the smell of blood became, as if there was a massacre ahead.

Ethan’s heart beat so fast, he prayed so hard he was not too late and by some miracle, no one got hurt, though he knew it was impossible...
