The Alpha King And His Chosen Luna novel Chapter 215

A warning carried in fear

(Isla)

The seal burned beneath my fingertips.

The dining room disappeared before I could pull my hand away. The voices around me vanished as though they had never been there. The floor beneath my feet no longer existed. I stood inside something that

wasn’t my own memory.

Cold air surrounded me.

Dark stone walls stretched in every direction. Rain beat against narrow windows somewhere nearby. I couldn’t see the room clearly because everything around me felt wrapped in fear instead of light. That fear became the only thing I could truly understand.

It wasn’t mine.

It belonged to someone else. Someone breathing too fast while trying to stay quiet. Someone who believed every passing second brought death closer. The feeling pressed against me until my chest hurt.

A hand appeared.

It wasn’t a face or even a full body. Only a hand holding the same letter I’d touched moments before. The fingers shook so badly the wax seal almost slipped from their grasp.

Panic swallowed everything else.

The person wasn’t running to save themselves. They were trying to save someone else. Every step carried the same desperate thought again and again. The King has to know.

The words weren’t spoken aloud.

They simply existed inside the fear surrounding me. They repeated without stopping. Every thought returned to Caius before racing away again. Whoever carried the letter believed he was the only person who could stop what was coming.

Another feeling crashed into me.

It wasn’t fear.

It was guilt.

Heavy.

Crushing.

The person carrying the letter blamed themselves for waiting too long. They believed every delay had already cost lives. They feared there wouldn’t be enough time to prevent more.

The vision shifted.

The hand disappeared.

A warning carted in fear

A long table stood before me instead. Chairs surrounded it, but every seat remained empty. One chair at The head looked different from the others, larger and carved with wolves unlike anything I’d seen before.

Something terrible had happened there.

I couldn’t see it.

I couldn’t hear it.

I only knew it.

The fear inside the room hadn’t faded. It had soaked into the stone itself. It felt older than the letter and stronger than anything I’d touched before.

The room changed again.

A map lay spread across the table. My eyes moved across mountains, rivers, and pack territories before stopping near the eastern border. I didn’t recognize every marking, but one place had been circled several

times.

Then blood landed across the map.

One drop.

Then another.

Then several more.

I couldn’t see where they came from.

The vision refused to show me.

The fear returned so suddenly my knees almost gave way.

Someone was begging.

Not with words.

With feeling.

Don’t let them come too late.

Please.

Don’t let them come too late.

The plea repeated until it became impossible to separate from everything else.

Then another emotion appeared.

Hope.

Small.

Fragile.

A waming carted in fear

The person believed there was still une chance teft. One person who could change what happened next. That hope rested entirely with Caius.

The world around me began to crack apart

The stone walls disappeared first. The table followed. The map faded beneath the falling blood until nothing remained except darkness filled with fear.

Then I heard another voice.

Not the frightened one.

Calm.

Ancient.

Female.

It seemed to come from everywhere at once.

The truth arrives before the enemy.

The words settled around me.

See everything.

Miss nothing.”

The voice disappeared before I could answer.

The darkness shattered.

Air rushed into my lungs.

The dining room returned all at once. My hand jerked away from the seal as though it had burned me. I drew in another breath while every face around the table remained fixed on me.

Caius was already beside me.

One of his hands rested lightly against my arm. He didn’t ask me to speak immediately, tie waited until my breathing settled enough for me to focus on him.

What did you see?

I looked at him.

I don’t know.

The answer frustrated me more than anyone else.

I saw pieces.

What pieces?Pryor asked quietly.

I closed my eyes for a moment.

A warning camed in fear

The person carrying the letter was terrifiedI opened them again. Not for themselves. For everyone else.

No one interrupted.

They believed you had to receive the message.I looked at Caius. They thought you were the only one who could stop whatever was coming.”

The room remained silent.

There was another place.

Every face stayed on me.

I’ve never seen it before.

Caius didn’t interrupt.

It had stone walls and a large table.I searched for the right words. There was a map showing the eastern border, and someone had circled one place several times.

Could you read the name?Zeron asked.

I shook my head.

No.

Disappointment crossed his face before disappearing.

There was blood on the map.

Lira looked toward Caius.

Blood?

I never saw who was bleeding.I swallowed. The drops justappeared.”

Another silence followed.
