The Alpha's Unwanted Luna (by Miss L) novel Chapter 476

“Anything else? I need to fight her and end this. I need to find my mate and my friends.”

I feel a tap at my heart. Ready? Not really, but here we go anyway.

The golden light around the ravine disappears and a blue streak flashes across my face. I might have lost some hair with that one. I think about the movements that Brianna does and raise my arms out to the sides, palms down, gathering up the energy from the earth. It feels like a weight is gathering and it’s heavy. No wonder Brianna and Marietta don’t use magic for every little thing. I twist my hands forward and it feels like I am carrying Jax’s dead weight in my fingers. What the hell?!? I stagger forward and hope I am doing this right. My fingers flex as I shove my arms forward. A green light flashes from me and everything bends towards Eliza. The wind, the trees, even the grass is blown in her direction. She sweeps her arms and whatever I threw at her is thrown to the side.

Man, All that effort, just to have it brushed away. I’d rather punch her in her smug face. Magic ripples around my feet as I step towards the edge of the Rift. I don’t want to get too close. It would be just my luck to have all of this power and then to just trip and impale myself on a big ass crystal jutting out of the rock face. But, I need to get closer to her.

I have to believe that there is something about me that this magic chose. Why I am different I don’t know, other than the fact that she is nursing a massive grudge. Her training is clearly more in depth than mine. I don’t have my wolf, my mate, my friends or the only magical people that would help me. It’s me and this crazy girl who thinks I owe her something, and she’s ready to take it by force if necessary.
