The Apocalyptic Queen's Werewolf Journey (Thora and Darius) novel Chapter 127

Chapter 127 Murder Case

Third-person POV:

The elders and branch members in the hall were frozen in shock.

When did Thora even awaken her wolf?

And that aura she just showed-it was stronger than any normal Alpha!

Yeah.

Finished

Amie had already woken up again two days ago, even faster than Thora had expected, and she was steady as

ever.

“I’m so over these idiots calling me a loser who can’t awaken!”

Amie growled in their shared mind-link, furious. “If we weren’t busy today, I’d go teach them a lesson and show who’s really the strongest!”

Thora calmed Amie through their mind-link, then scanned the crowd, her voice carrying authority that left no room for argument. “So, do I qualify to be the heir of the Silverleaf Pack?”

Wherever her eyes landed, it felt like a wolf king patrolling its territory

That cold, commanding stare crushed any thought of resistance.

Everyone bowed, too intimidated to even speak.

“Good. Now we can move to the real issue.”

Thora retracted her wolf claw, the icy gleam fading from her fingertips.

She looked at Evren first, then fixed her gaze on the pale Laurel. Her voice cut through the room like a blade. “Today, I’m going to reveal a murder case that’s been buried for 15 years.”

All eyes were on her when they heard that.

A murder case from 15 years ago?

Weren’t they supposed to be talking about succession? How did that even come up?

And she even brought Evren, the Inter-Pack Peace Envoy.

Everyone knew Evren didn’t get along with the Greens. He never came to their place.

Evren’s expression tightened. He looked at Thora, then scanned the Greens sharply.

No wonder Thora called him here. That explained everything.

Felix reached over and steadied Evren’s shoulder, whispering, “Relax, Grandpa.” His face was tight with

worry.

Evren patted Felix’s hand, nodded, and shoved the emotions down.

“Cut the crap and stop scaring everyone!” Norman snapped.

Thora didn’t even glance at him.

Her eyes scanned Laurel and Hazel, who were staring daggers at her, then she got straight to the point. “Fifteen years ago, my mother, Diane, was killed after a rogue attack when the rogues went wild.

“Shortly after she died, Laurel became Norman’s new mate and had Hazel just four months later. Everyone here knows that story, right?”

Laurel’s anger drained instantly, replaced by shock and panic.

No way… How could she know that? This can’t be real!

The others in the hall hadn’t really looked into it before, but hearing Thora bring it up now made it feel like something shady was going on.

“Shut up! Do you think you can talk about your mother’s death?” Norman growled, low and dangerous. “What are you trying to do?”

Thora ignored him and pressed on. “All the records back then said my mom’s death was an accident. The feral rogues were just a coincidence. But that’s a lie.

“It was all planned. My mom … she was murdered!”

Her lips curved into a cold smile as she dropped the bomb slowly on purpose. “And the one who did it … is Laurel.”
