The Apocalyptic Queen's Werewolf Journey (Thora and Darius) novel Chapter 181

Chapter 181 It’s Time To Go Back

After lying low in secret for four months, the Wolffang Unit successfully completed the very first mission given by the Lycan King.

The operation was fast and clean, leaving no loose ends behind.

This single battle completely silenced all opposing voices in the Astralis Empire Congress and the military.

The Wolffang Unit officially became the Empire’s secret blade.

No one knew where they were or what they were doing, and except for a handful of top leaders, no one in the military even knew who the members were.

“The Wolffang Unit can handle great responsibility, but a blade this sharp is dangerous. If it ever loses control, it will cut its owner.” The Lycan King stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, his voice firm but carrying a trace of concern.

Darius walked over slowly, smiling with ease. “Don’t worry. Thora’s loyalty is carved into her bones. As long as Astralis does not betray her, she will never betray Astralis.”

The Lycan King turned around, the stern look in his eyes softening into affection. “You brat, your taste is nothing like your father’s. He ran off with Evelyn as his mate, and you went after that fierce little girl, Thora. You’d better not come crying when she bullies you.”

Darius laughed and supported him by the arm. “Being bullied by her is my honor.”

Meanwhile, over in Novaland.

After the chaos at Sky Casino spread, different factions began hunting down the thief syndicate known as Mirage Corsairs, and the Ciphers also issued a kill order. But the group was elusive, and no one could find their main base.

The Mirage Corsairs was the most troublesome thief syndicate in all of Chaules. Their leader, Corey, commanded twelve generals, and the lower ranks were made up of criminals wanted by different empires. They were a gang that lived by burning, killing, and looting.

At the same time, another mysterious team began drawing attention. They were called the Casino Redeemers.

After comparing information from all sides, people realized that this team was the Ashwolf group that had vanished months earlier.

Everyone began guessing who had hired Ashwolf and whether they had reached a deal with the Ciphers of

Ironblade Pack.

But the Ciphers never stepped out to explain anything and revealed no details at all.

As time passed, the speculation slowly died down.

After winning their first battle, Thora led the Wolffang Unit in continued special training while also taking

on secret missions from Astralis.

From that point on, the name Ashwolf slowly began to spread across the world.

A year and a half later.

A ship was sailing across the Western Ocean.

Thora rested her right leg on the edge of a high platform, her fingers rubbing the thumb-sized stone hanging from her neck.

Living on the move for so long, her hair had grown much longer than before, and the sea wind swept it across her face, almost covering it completely.

Tristan and the others were rough guys, and as soon as their hair grew a little long, they cut each other’s hair with scissors, even if the results were terrible.

To keep her own hair safe, Thora simply let it grow naturally.

Ashton, Harvey, and Luke were used to it. Back then, Thora had straight black hair, so having it longer now just felt familiar.

Dominic, Alger, and the others had learned about Thora’s gender from Shirley and didn’t think much of it.

Only Tristan grew more confused the more he looked. Boss still carries the same killing aura, but when his long hair flows, the lines of his face look softer, making him look … more and more like a woman.

Shirley sat cross-legged on the deck next to Thora, wiping down her sniper rifle.

The rifle had been rebuilt by Maddox to perfectly fit Shirley’s height and grip strength, so she treated it with

extra care.

Not long ago, they had just fought a pirate crew roaming the Western Ocean and had come out with huge gains.

Over the past year and alf, they had clashed with almost every faction in Chaules, including the thief syndicate, Mirage Corsairs.

Each time, they had defeated larger forces with fewer people, and slowly, Ashwolf became a name that meant trouble.

Thora suddenly clenched the stone in her hand, her eyes filled with cold resolve. “It’s time to go back.”

Shirley looked up from cleaning her rifle and stared at Thora

Then she smiled, pulled a lollipop from her pocket, and handed it to her. “Thora, candy overseas is not as good as the ones from Astralis.”

Thora looked down at Shirley and took the lollipop witly a smile. “Maybe.”
