The Apocalyptic Queen's Werewolf Journey (Thora and Darius) novel Chapter 259

Chapter 259 She Said Yes

“Okay.”

Thora replied softly.

Her voice wasn’t loud, but it was clear as day.

It finally put Darius’s heart at ease.

That’s great. She said yes! Lorcan cheered, practically wagging his tail in Darius’s mind.

A smile crept onto Darius’s lips, too.

As soon as she replied, Thora headed straight into the cockpit.

She glanced over the controls, and in seconds, she had figured out how to fly the jet.

Within moments, the jet lifted off, circled twice, then shot like a rocket out over the ocean.

The pilot who’d flown the jet there-and Carl-were both stunned.

Thora had just taken off without a single moment to get used to the aircraft.

Even an experienced pilot would need to familiarize themselves with the controls and parameters first, but Thora didn’t seem to need that. She really was a genius.

Darius watched the black dot in the sky grow smaller and smaller, his eyes gentle as he thought silently, Thora, don’t forget what I said to you.

After setting the course, Thora flew west the whole way.

This jet was packed with smart features. As long as she locked in the route and destination, the jet could fly on autopilot except during emergencies.

Even in turbulence, the defense systems would kick in automatically.

So Thora simply closed her eyes, planning to nap for ten minutes.

Whether it was lingering effects from the tranquilizer or not, when she opened her eyes again, two hours had already passed.

Thora frowned and checked the time.

There were only five hours left before Blue Star Military Academy’s admissions closed.

Even if she was flying at top speed, it would still take at least three hours to reach Tohmont.

She cranked up the throttle, sending the jet shooting across the sky like a meteor toward Tohmont,

But as soon as the jet crossed into Tohmont airspace, it suddenly picked up a jamming signal.

Thora’s expression changed. Just my luck. Tohmont’s airspace actually has sonic jammers set up. Any aircraft that enters will lose control and crash.

Her original landing zone was outside Tohmont, but to save time, she’d tried to fly straight into the city. She hadn’t expected the academy to pull this kind of trick.

Thora cursed her own recklessness and grumbled about Blue Star Military Academy. All this trouble just for the registration? That’s overkill!

Sure enough, the jet started to spiral out of control.

Her fingers flew over the controls, the plane jerking forward and pulling off a series of crazy loops before diving toward the ground.

One of the officers monitoring the skies suddenly lit up. “Any idea which empire this fighter jet is from?”

His colleague shook his head. “It’s not a standard model. Must be a custom job.”

“Impressive. Pulling off glides like that… The students this year are next level,” the first officer remarked.

“Well, let’s just hope they don’t crash and burn,” the other shrugged.

There were no ranks on their uniforms, but the badge on their shoulders gave their identities away-they belonged to Blue Star Military Academy.

“There are only two hours left to register.” Luke checked his watch, then added, “But Boss still isn’t here.”

Tristan was anxious but tried not to show it.
