The Apocalyptic Queen's Werewolf Journey (Thora and Darius) novel Chapter 267

Chapter 267 What’s Wrong With This Year’s candidates?

“Are you farsighted?” the examiner asked, narrowing her eyes at Shirley.

Finished

Shirley’s eyes shifted. “So what if I am? I could shoot a target from two miles away with a single shot. Want

to make a bet?”

Being born farsighted actually became a big advantage and helped her grow into a top sniper.

The examiner was lost for words. Why is this girl so fierce?

Well, for a sniper, being farsighted really isn’t a bad thing.

But…

“Our academy has never accepted someone this short before…”

The military academy only had an age limit. The medical check never listed a height rule. Still, almost everyone who gets in is at least five feet six.

A long sniper rifle could be almost the same height as Shirley was.

And she looked like a child who hadn’t grown up yet. She didn’t seem like she came to take a test-more like she came along for fun.

That was why the examiner hesitated.

“Got a problem with my height now?” Shirley shot back at once.

She glared at him and puffed out her cheeks. “You’re picking on me… Søb, sob, why are you bullying me? I didn’t choose to be this short. Boo hoo…”

“Okay, okay! Ms. Reed, go inside. You’ve passed,” the examiner said in a panic, trying to calm her.

She was way too cute to say no to, and the rules truly didn’t include any height limit. He shouldn’t have let his bias show.

When Shirley walked out, the others were already waiting.

“Why did it take so long?” Dominic asked, puzzled.

Tristan seemed to figure it out and teased, “Did they reject you for being too short?”

As soon as he said that, everyone burst out laughing.

Shirley’s innocent face, combined with her short height, made her seem soft and easy to push around.

Shirley snorted. “Tristan, I still haven’t forgotten what you did last year-stuffing height pads into my shoes!”

Tristan scratched his nose, looking embarrassed.

A whole year had passed, yet she still remembered it clearly.

Thora couldn’t help but smile. “Come on. Let’s go to the next test area.”

As soon as Thora and the others finished their physical tests, Ashley walked into the room.

Finished

The examiner read the report and froze. The cool boy from earlier was actually a girl. And this stunning woman turned out to be…

Ashley calmly put her coat back on and smiled at the examiner. “Haven’t you heard of cross-dressing?”

After saying that, Ashley walked away toward Thora.

Before the examiner could recover, someone else entered the room.

He looked up and was left speechless again.

What was going on with this year’s candidates? Why were they all so weird?

The first round of physical tests was over. Out of more than a thousand candidates, almost 200 were eliminated.

The remaining candidates followed an examiner to another testing area.

The examiner was a man in his forties. He was calm and steady, with an unusually huge build. A strong wolf power spread from him.

With a body like that, one punch could likely knock someone to the ground.

His huge frame, along with muscles charged by wolf power, formed a natural pressure barrier.

Even the most arrogant candidates didn’t dare cause trouble.

He looked down at the more than 800 new candidates and spoke in a deep voice, “Congratulations. You have officially entered the Blue Star Military Academy entrance exams.

“Since the day our academy was founded, we have only set an age limit for applicants. We do not care about your background or status. We are here to find talents that have been forgotten or even abandoned by the world.

“As for what you gain by entering Blue Star Military Academy, I’m sure you all know. You will receive resources no one else has. Nations will compete to recruit you. A Blue Star officer’s diploma will be a key that unlocks countless secret files across the world.”

After the examiner finished speaking, excitement spread through the crowd. Their fighting spirit was lit in

an instant.

“Of course, these benefits are not for everyone. You must pass the admission test and then graduate from the academy. Most of you will be eliminated. Only a small group of the best will remain.”

Thora listened quietly in the crowd, her expression calm and cool.
