Chapter 312 Eliminated

As Thora and the others continued on foot, they ran into several more battles.
Anyone who dared to attack them head-on ultimately ended up eliminated.
Before long, a nickname began circulating across the deserted island-the “Death Squad.” Run into them, and elimination was almost guaranteed.
For a time, this small team became every candidate’s nightmare. With every step, people silently prayed they wouldn’t cross paths with them.
Meanwhile, Thora’s group knew nothing about any of this.
They hadn’t wanted to fight in the first place-but there were always people who insisted on provoking them.
After a night passed, the sky was still shrouded in mist, the sea air heavy and unsettled.
At last, Thora and the others emerged from the island, approaching the coastline near their destination.
Several pairs of military boots crunched over sand and gravel. By the shore, a massive white warship stood out starkly, like the final coordinate marking the end.
The moment it came into view, it meant one thing-this round of the assessment was over.
When Thora arrived, quite a few candidates were already waiting on the beach.
She wasn’t surprised. After all, this test wasn’t just about collecting map fragments-the drop locations had also been randomized.
The closer someone landed to the target point, the sooner they could make it out.
As for her, having been thrown into the deepest part of the island, even running at full speed meant starting far behind everyone else.
A sharp glint flashed across Luke’s lenses. He sprang to his feet at once. “Boss!”
Seeing Luke-filthy from head to toe, clearly having gone through heavy camouflage-Tristan and the others stared at him in disbelief.
“What?!” Tristan blurted out. “You got out this fast?!”
Shirley pressed on, still incredulous. “Luke, how long have you been out?”
Luke thought for a moment. “Since yesterday.”
Ryan’s mouth twitched slightly. This is not a normal pace.
Thora glanced at Luke’s laptop, the corner of her lips lifting. “You used a cheat, huh?”
Luke adjusted his glasses, nodding with an air of inscrutable confidence, “Yeah. I cheated.”

Chapter 312 Eliminated
The exchange sounded like riddles. Ryan was completely lost.
Tristan and Shirley, on the other hand, got it instantly, realization flashing in their eyes.
“There was a move like that?!” Shirley exclaimed. If she’d known, she would’ve stuck with Luke-life would’ve been way easier following a walking hack.
Luke shot her a smug look.

Just then, more and more candidates emerged from the forest. The pitch-black sky slowly faded, light seeping back into the world.
Thora scanned the area, but the people she was looking for were nowhere to be seen.
“Why haven’t Ashton and Harvey come out yet?” Tristan frowned, worry clear on his face.
Almost at the same moment, two figures appeared from different directions-Draven and Ashley.
They surfaced at the same time but far apart.
Spotting each other, both looked briefly surprised, exchanged a glance, and then headed separately toward the shore.
Once Draven blended into the crowd, he reined in his presence completely, as if erasing himself-easy to overlook, easy to miss.
But Thora knew he was there. She could still feel a gaze following her through the crowd.
