The Apocalyptic Queen's Werewolf Journey (Thora and Darius) novel Chapter 338

Chapter 338 What Are You Doing?

Whenever Luke followed behind Thora and Draven, he always felt useless for no clear reason.

Even though Number 79 was called Draven and not Darius, he and Thora shared a strange kind of understanding. Their natural rhythm made it hard for anyone else to fit in.

After the two of them once again worked together to quickly deal with a high-tier Infected, Luke took the initiative and said, “Boss, I’ll go check on Tristan and the others. I’ll explain everything to them in person. If anything happens, we can contact each other.”

After saying that, Luke left the team and went to find Tristan and the others.

Draven’s eyebrows moved slightly as he looked at the ruined buildings around them and the people in the streets fighting over food from time to time.

He suddenly asked, “If the candidates you killed in the game really died in the real world, would you feel guilty?”

Thora had just taken two steps when she stopped. She lowered her voice and said, “I don’t think that’s a real question. If I had to carry guilt for everything in this world, I wouldn’t be able to move forward at all.”

Draven curved his lips faintly and followed after her.

But they hadn’t gone far before two players stepped out to block their path, and both of them immediately went on guard.

“You’re Ash, right? Number 230,” one fierce-looking man asked.

“Yes,” Thora replied coldly as she stared at them.

“Tell us how you got your card, or we’ll kill you right here in the game,” he threatened harshly.

“If you just tell us where the quest trigger is, we can let you go,” the other added.

Thora quickly glanced at the leaderboard and saw that both of them were ranked in the top ten.

“They’re this bold. Looks like they came prepared,” Draven said calmly from behind.

Sure enough, two submachine guns appeared in the men’s hands, aimed straight at them.

“And what if I don’t tell you?” Thora raised her eyes, showing no fear at all.

The two men exchanged looks and snarled, “Then we’ll just have to send you to your

death.

“You probably don’t know this yet. Once you die in the game, you’ll die in the real world too,” one of them said with a creepy laugh.

Both Thora and Draven’s expressions changed slightly.

As soon as the two men finished speaking, they opened fire at Thora.

A card instantly appeared in Thora’s hand. “Wind!”

At the exact moment they pulled the triggers, a violent gust of wind suddenly surged toward them.

Even the bullets lost their power. The two men were swept into the air, struggling and screaming for help.

In the game, everyone’s physical stats and wolf spirit levels were equalized. Players could only gain advantages through game rules, such as weapons dropped by monsters or special abilities attached to cards.

Draven glanced at Thora’s card. “That looks pretty useful.”

Her card turned into a beam of light and vanished from her hand, and the two men fell to the ground at the same time.

Their HP had dropped by half, but their lives weren’t in danger, so they ran away as fast as they could.

“Looks like everyone knows now,” Thora said, her voice heavy.

Draven stepped closer to her and smiled casually. “For some people, knowing this will only make them kill more.”

As he spoke, he glanced at Ashley’s name, which was climbing up steadily on the rankings.

Thora’s expression also grew serious.

Ashley had already left the team an hour ago.

Thora didn’t know what Ashley was doing or where she was.

But aside from Ashley, Thora also suspected the artificial werewolf she had encountered during the second round.

If he had partners, what were they trying to do? Could it be related to the virus in the game?

“Looks like someone wants to sabotage this year’s Blue Star Military Academy recruitment,” Draven said quietly.

Thora frowned deeply.

This feeling of waiting helplessly was extremely uncomfortable.

But right now, all she could do was continue collecting the 12 cards and end the game as soon as possible.

The team formed by Thora and Draven was easily the most dangerous combination in the entire game.

Most players would avoid them the moment they saw the two of them, not daring to provoke them at all.
