The Apocalyptic Queen's Werewolf Journey (Thora and Darius) novel Chapter 493

After hanging up, Thora's lips curved slightly as she idly spun the silver handgun in her hand.

Five hours later, Thora and her team arrived at the outskirts of the city, the meeting point she had arranged with Roxen and the others.

The remaining groups showed up one after another. In the end, three teams gathered there.

Once everyone fully revealed themselves, they could clearly see that the leaders of the three groups were Roxen, Tobias, and Ryan.

Nearly a hundred teams from the academy were scattered across the world, and only these three had managed to locate this place in the shortest time.

"Roxen." Ryan greeted him politely. When he looked at Tobias, he only gave a faint nod.

Over the past year, Ryan had already figured out Tobias's personality. He was ambitious and willing to do whatever it took.

In Ryan's eyes, Tobias was always trying to drag Thora down, yet every attempt ended in complete failure. Sometimes Ryan even felt a little sympathy for him. Of all people, he had to go up against someone as powerful and well-rounded as Thora.

Tobias gave them a cold glance before looking at Roxen with a faint smile. "Didn't expect you to be here, Roxen."

Roxen curled his lips slightly and replied politely, "Compared to me, I'm more surprised you showed up."

Tobias's smile stiffened, and his eyes turned colder. "Looks like your team didn't come out of it in great shape."

The injured members of Roxen's team were obvious. The battered state of everyone present could be seen at a glance.

Roxen's expression cooled, but he smiled back. "You don't look much better yourself."

Ryan stood silently to the side and did not join their exchange.

His team had only arrived at the Golden Triad yesterday, and their casualties had also been heavy. But as someone who had served in the military for years, he was used to losses during missions and did not show much emotion.

Tobias stopped trading barbs with Roxen and asked directly, "Where's Thora? Our team came because we received her message. I didn't expect more than just us."

At that moment, the familiar sound of military pants brushing against each other echoed through the air. Thora's voice rang out, instantly drawing everyone's attention. "Sorry. I'm not late. You're just early."

They looked up and saw Thora walking toward them with her team. Including her, there were only 10 people, yet their presence was no less imposing than any other team there.

The moment they saw Thora, almost everyone instinctively stood up straight. There was a distinct sense of respect in their eyes. She was the true king of their military academy, the one standing at the very top, just like Adrian back then.

"Thora." Roxen's lips curved upward without him realizing it.

Ryan also nodded in greeting. Not seeing Tristan at her side surprised him a little. He assumed Tristan was carrying out another mission.

Tobias kept a blank expression, but when he noticed how visibly moved his own team members were upon seeing Thora, his eyes darkened further.

Tobias's question was also what Roxen wanted to ask. In the past, everyone had fought on their own. Why had Thora suddenly gathered them all together today?

Seeing his awkward expression, Mike could not help laughing. "Hahaha..."

After two short laughs, he sensed the shift in the atmosphere. He immediately covered his mouth and lightly slapped himself. His mouth was going to get him into trouble one day.

Better to stay quiet and just look at Shirley.

But she did not pay him any attention at all. She did not even spare him a glance.

What Thora said was the truth.

Even if each of them could fight 10 or a hundred enemies alone, the problem was that they did not know the enemy's real cards. Meanwhile, every attack launched against them had been prepared in advance and highly targeted.

Roxen and the others were confident they could slowly wear the enemy down and find their weaknesses. But they did not have that kind of time. And that group's combat strength was definitely no weaker than that of academy cadets.

"There are five days left before the mission ends. Right now, you have two choices."

Thora's tone grew even more serious. "One, each team keeps fighting on its own, slowly looking for weaknesses and trying to locate the counterfeit syndicate's headquarters. But the time and cost required would be unpredictable. Two, all teams combine forces and operate together, crushing the enemy in one decisive strike. Which one you choose is up to you."

If they refused to cooperate, she could still move forward with her own team. It would just be much more troublesome.
