Chapter 235 The Old And Tired Sun

Joanna was still in Symbiote Eusion form. She did not look like a normal human.

Only now did she realize something important. Everything that just happened had been a dream.

They were alive, but they had become food for demons.

“Joanna, are you awake?” Alwyn’s voice sounded nearby.

Lucien spoke up quickly, clearly nervous. “My queen, I didn’t mean it like that. You were trapped in a nightmare. No matter how we called you, you wouldn’t wake up. Nighthowl said nightmares are easier to break if we speak sharply, so I had to say those things.”

“We need to find the enemy fast,” Joanna said seriously. “This kind of mental attack is extremely strong. it can pull someone into a dream instantly. If three hours pass and we exit Symbiotic Fusion, my mental strength will drop, Hl be much easier to trap in a dream.”

She paused, then added, “Still, this isn’t hypnosis. As long as you know it’s a dream, you will wake up eventually.

“And the Dreamweave Web covers the whole planet,” she continued. “If we leave the planet, we might not be affected anymore.

“If we can’t find the enemy in three hours,” Joanna concluded, “we leave.”

She looked up at the sun and froze.

A health bar had appeared above the sun, which was terrifying on its own.

Worse, the bar was broken and almost empty, and the sun looked like it was about to go out.
