“Note: This is a real–world zone. No dungeon rules. Extremely dangerous. No safe exit. Beyond Space Alliance control. Proceed with caution.”
Epic–tier, huh?
Joanna knew it meant the difficulty was insane.
When she arrived, Francis unleashed his divine phantom. It hovered above, outlining a rough zone for
her.
The marked areas were the safe mining grounds cleared by humans. Any attempt to gather more resources meant venturing farther out, where danger grew and encounters with other races were inevitable.
Joanna and Francis teamed up. If he ran into a god, she could rush in immediately.
That way, she could complete her missions.
On this battlefield, even the lowest–ranked players were advanced professionals, all over Level 80. Joanna was the lowest–level one around.
Still, she was riding high, so people naturally came over to greet her and send friend requests.
“Are you here for the advanced class–change mission? Mythic–level difficulty? Makes sense.”
“Don’t sweat it. Some folks sit on these missions for ten years if there’s no time limit. Totally normal.”
“Only stubborn or hopeless ones give up and switch to Legendary later. If you do, the rest of the journey gets way harder. So hang in there.”
They spoke as veterans, comforting Joanna.
She nodded, thanked them, and then joined the public mining mission.
In the Gilded River, liquid metal flowed nonstop. Just grabbing a chunk could solidify into a huge ingot. It was top–tier stuff.
Out in
space, bits of that material condensed into something called celestial gold sand.
Celestial gold sand was light as a feather but sharp as a blade. It floated right on the water.
The tricky part? The liquid metal underneath was insanely heavy. Trying to scoop only the gold sand was a real challenge.
If she got splashed by that metal, it would drag her in and turn her into a corpse made of metal.
It was super risky.
If she ran into other cemonkind, they might not kill her right away. They’d just slam her into the river and 1/3

turn her into a bronze statue.
Xavier looked at the river and found it interesting.
He quickly reached out a branch and dipped it into the liquid metal.
Once the liquid left the Gilded River and hit open space, it sucked up energy like crazy. One drop quickly ballooned into a huge iron sphere.
“Interesting!
“Joanna, this stuff is insane. Its mass can grow endlessly, and it can even make metals of different densities, If we bring it back, it’s perfect for building!”
Some people hated it because it was so heavy and took up tons of space on equipment, hardly worth it.
But Joanna didn’t care one bit.
“Then what’re we waiting for? Let’s pack it!”

Nighthowl and Joanna jumped into action, scooping up Gilded River water fast.
Nightstar Group quickly launched an alchemy company, bought machines, built factories, and churned out a nonstop stream of processed materials.
Three planets were being developed at full speed, needing tons of building materials. This river water would save Joanna a fortune.
She scooped, Nighthowl transported, and they basically emptied the Decennial Universe.
The celestial gold sand was amazing as well. It was Epic–tier stuff. But the river was huge and always moving. They had to work slowly and carefully. In a 30–hour day, maybe they’d find only three or four grains.
Still, it shone like sunlight. The moment one appeared, it flashed across the Star Domain, and a horde of people would rush in. Fights broke out everywhere.
Anywhere the god appeared in space was technically safe, but there were just too many people. Competition was brutal. Grabbing loot came down to speed. So the god’s presence didn’t help much.
Besides, Joanna’s job was bait.
She didn’t hesitate, heading straight for the outer rim.
She joined a human patrol and started sweeping the borders.
Soon, they ran into a Tusked Boar patrol.
From far off, a massive wall of boars thundered over. They were 20 stories high and over a thousand feet long.

Their patrol spotted the humans, and both sides stared each other down. As they got closer, the humans flared with power, swelling into giants over a thousand feet tall.
Joanna instantly summoned six contracted companions. After Symbiotic Fusion, her aura surged–just as strong as those advanced professionals. Maybe even stronger.
No trash talk happened. Without psychic communication, they just attacked on the spot.
Joanna gripped the greatsword Troy had formed and swung hard.
A terrifying blast tore through space. Light–years away, someone might see it flash like a twinkling star.
That single strike hit like a stellar explosion.
A Tusked Boar charged straight at her, eyes full of hate. In a blink, his expression went blank, then dazed, ecstatic, and completely captivated.
