Chapter 460 Against Nyssara_
Chapter 460 Against Nyssara
Troy’s voice echoed in Joanna’s ear, calm and reassuring.
“Don’t worry, Joanna. You’re immune to all harm here. Nothing will happen to you.”
Troy’s abilities perfectly countered Nyssara’s corruption.
Around them, chaos reigned.
But soon, the Goddess of Radiance poured light across the battlefield.
A mass resurrection swept the field.
Everyone who had exploded moments before was restored to life.
Yet as Joanna launched another attack, Nyssara detonated those same people all over again.
The Goddess of Radiance revived them once more.
“Seriously? Why does it keep picking me?” someone groaned.
“I’ve died twice–I lost two whole levels!”
“The pain is the worst. My body exploded, my blood and flesh ripped away. It’s torture.”
“Oh no, not again.” The unlucky few felt the pull and the
returning.

Joanna’s senses sharpened. She knew something was wrong.
Before she could speak, the God of Shadows cut in. “Anyone who’s died, leave the dungeon at once. You were shaped by Nyssara’s Law, and the more it touches you, the worse your next death will be. You’ll be torn to pieces.”
The Mythic–tier humans were seasoned, each mastering multiple Laws.
They worked together with skill, able to handle this dungeon with confidence
Victory was nearly certain–though surprises always lurked.
And now, one had struck.
All those marked by Nyssara’s Law were forced to withdraw.
They’d become “insiders,” their suffering only feeding Nyssara’s regeneration.
At the same time, waves of white light rolled through the survivors. Their bodies grew younger, but their powers faded with every pulse.
Saul shook his head with a rueful grin. “Lucky for me, I’m already an old man. I can ride this Law and shave off a few years. At least this is a dungeon–if we were fighting Nyssara in the flesh, she could turn us all to infants in an instant.”
This was one of Nyssara’s Law abilities.

Chapter 460 Against Nyssara
The Space Alliance’s database labeled it bluntly: Infant Transformation.
At last, after forty relentless minutes, Nyssara crashed down.
The first clear was theirs.
“You have first–cleared the Broodmother Nyssara Crisis (Mythic–tier) dungeon. Reward: All attributes +10,000.”

“This evil god is a dungeon boss, so title stacking is reduced. All attributes +10,000 (this dungeon can stack up to 13 million Attribute Points–13 evil god bosses).”
“Your team damage ranking: 13th. You dealt 5% of total boss damage. Your share: 3.77% of the rewards (healers and tanks also
count toward reward shares).”
A contribution panel appeared before Joanna.
She could now trade those points for modifiers, equipment, and resources.
Twenty Epic–tier modifiers dropped from this single Mythic–tier run.
Joanna received 1%.
But bad news came swiftly.
The team needed to reorganize, removing anyone affected by Nyssara’s Law.
“What’s happening? Is the Goddess of Radiance really removing Professor?”
Helen was, in fact, dropped from the team.
She was too young; with Nyssara’s power, she could revert to before her ascension at any moment.
Helen herself decided not to continue.
Even if she left the team, she’d only miss out on the next dungeon’s rewards.
She still got her share from the first clear.
But with Helen gone, the Nightstar Group lost its leader.
That was a blow for Joanna’s side.
“Can’t we have a Potioneer brew a potion?” Joanna asked.
Saul shook his head. “You’d need a Mythic–tier Potioneer for that kind of potion. You know how rare they are.”
“Alright,” Joanna sighed, “then this time, our Group won’t run the dungeon with the Goddess of Radiance. But we can still challenge it ourselves, right? The dungeon’s on my territory. Even if it’s under the Goddess of Radiance, the God of Demon Sealing helped build it too.”
“Of course. You should talk to your Professor as well.”
Of course she would.

Joanna reached out to Helen and explained her plan.
Helen was surprised. “You can handle it alone?”

“Absolutely. Nyssara’s Law doesn’t affect me, and I’m choosing team members who are all interstellar sentinels–they haven’t been tainted.”
“Then do it. The dungeon is meant to be cleared. If you don’t, its Laws could spill out and threaten all of Shark Star. I’m the real owner of Shark Star, so I have every right to let you take it on
With that reassurance, Joanna quickly gathered her own team.
She had no idea that news of the godwar victory was already making headlines across the universe.
But the media didn’t celebrate the Mythic–tier team’s triumph.
Instead, the story twisted in a direction not even the Goddess of Radiance had seen coming.
