hapter 49
I both embarrassed and annoyed
The moment I was dragged in. I immediately closed my eyes.
I didn’t see the warning sign at the entrance.
With a “snap, the door was locked. Lucian roughly pressed me against the door panel
“Are you allowed to have dinner with Ragnar?”
Lucian’s breath scorched my skin–a mix of cedar, iron, and the electric tang of a coming storm. His deep voice rumbled again commanding, the kind of sound that vibrated in the bones before it reached the mind.
He acted dominantly. His eyes carried a sense of possessiveness towards me.
“Lucian, how many times do I have to tell you that we’ve severed the bond! I have no relationship with you anymore You have no righ decide who I can have meals with?”
I was very nervous, lowering my voice and coldly stared at Lucian, mocking him with every word.
“Sever the bond? You can’t sever the bond by just saying that! I will never allow you to sever the bond with me, you’d better remember that How dare you see someone else? Seren, do you think I’m dead?” Lucian’s eyes were icy cold as if he wanted to devour me with his gaze
I met Lucian’s gaze.
I was well aware that he refused to sever the bond with me not because he loved me.
It was all about a man’s dignity, not love.
Lucian was that mad because he believed he was the one in control in our relationship.
He couldn’t accept it if he was not the one who deserted me.
I sneered in my heart and replied mercilessly, “Yes. In my eyes, you died long ago…”
Before I could finish my word, my chin was pinched. Lucian lowered his head to kiss me.
I stared at Lucian fiercely.
I clenched my teeth tightly.
Lucian bit my lower lip heavily, dissatisfied.
I felt so much pain.
With a “hiss“, I took a breath in.
Lucian was given an opportunity to get his tongue.
He quickly moved.
My eyes turned red with anger. During a break in Lucian’s breathing, I fiercely bit his lip.
The smell of blood immediately filled the space between us.
Lucian felt so much pain but did not let go of me. Instead, he seemed to be irritated, with his eyes turning crimson, and he kissed me even deeper.
The kiss almost suffocated me.
Lucian didn’t know how long had passed before he finally released my lips.
I was kissed hard until my brain lacked oxygen. I lost all my strength.
