Chapter 74 The Ambush On The Wall

The car slowly drove away from the teleport portal.

Soon, a massive city wall came into view. It was about 200 feet tall, as tall as a 20–story building. The wall didn’t just block monsters. It also gave professionals a better place to fight.

The taxi passed through the wall and left the protection field. Outside, defensive structures were everywhere.

The farther out they went, the higher the players‘ levels became. The monsters also grew stronger.

Finally, after driving about 12 miles, they reached another, much lower wall. Battle cries filled the air. The Swarm was everywhere. Countless professionals were fighting to stop the invasion.

“Let’s go. We’re getting on the wall too!” Joanna said.

She got out of the car and joined the defense.

He blinked once. In that instant, huge numbers of the Swarm dropped dead.

With just that move, Nighthowl killed over 100,000 Swarm creatures.

The battlefield was suddenly cleared.

“Oh man, thank you! I was one second away from dying!”

The professionals who had been fighting froze for a moment. Then they started shouting.

“Hey! Who stole my kills?!”

But Nighthowl had cast his skill high in the air. His attack was hidden. Aside from the area directly beneath him, no one noticed where it came from.

Joanna’s experience points shot up.

She whispered, “If your skill has long range, attack monsters farther away. If it’s safe enough, move to another area to hunt. Don’t fight other professionals over the same target.”
