"You need to come with us, Miss Sienna. Our boss wants to meet you."
Sienna swallowed hard to hear that. Almost instantly, several names immediately flashed through her mind.
’Benjamin Foster sent them to capture me? No. It might be Angie, right!’
Then another possibility surfaced.
’My dad!? Oh my god! So, these people are Boss Juan’s people?’
The mere thought caused her entire body to tense.
Striving to remain calm, she slowly half-turned, finding herself trapped in the middle. Three large men blocked her path on the right, while another stood on her left—the man in the black suit appeared to be their leader.
"Your boss?" Sienna asked carefully. "Do I know him?"
"Yes." The man in the black suit nodded. "You know him very well... our boss is your future husband!"
Sienna’s heartbeat pounded as she heard his answer, confirming her suspicion. She felt her blood run cold. Still, she tried hard not to let her fear show on her face.
"Sorry, but you’ve got the wrong person. I’m a married woman," she said, surprisingly calm. She then walked without showing any sign of intimidation.
The men exchanged amused glances, apparently finding her calm response entertaining rather than concerning.
Sienna had barely taken a step when the bald man moved in front of her and grabbed her wrist. His fingers tightened around her arm with enough force to stop her immediately, and a smug smile spread across his face as though he had already secured his prize.
The other three men chuckled as they watched the scene unfold, clearly pleased to see her cornered on an empty road with nowhere to run.
Yet while they expected panic or fear, Sienna simply lowered her gaze to the hand gripping her wrist before looking back up at the man. Her expression remained calm, though her eyes now held a sharpness that made it clear she wasn’t intimidated.
"Let go of my hand," she said coldly.
The bald man laughed under his breath, completely unimpressed by the warning. "You need to come with us," he replied while smiling lustily.
"Hey! Don’t hurt her. Boss Juan needs her unharmed," Blade reminded him from the side.
The bald man nodded casually. "No worries, Blade. I know what I’m doing." Although he loosened his grip slightly, he made no effort to release her.
Sienna tightened her jaw as frustration and disgust gradually replaced her calm and patience. She had already given them an opportunity to walk away from this situation, but this man chose violence.
"I said, let go of my hand, or you’ll regret it."
Instead of listening, the bald man burst into condescending laughter.
For several seconds, nobody spoke.
The entire confrontation had taken less than a minute. Still, it was enough to shatter the confidence the men had carried when they first approached her.
Their eyes shifted repeatedly between Sienna and the bald man lying helplessly on the ground. A moment ago, they had viewed her as an easy target. Now, the largest among them was unable to stand after only two strikes.
Sienna adjusted the strap of her saddlebag on her shoulder and faced the man who appeared to be leading the group. Her breathing remained steady, and there was no sign of panic in her expression. If anything, she looked mildly annoyed that they had forced her into this situation.
"Are you going to let me go, or do you want to end up like him?" she asked.
The leader stared at her, visibly struggling to reconcile the woman standing before him with the helpless victim he had expected. His gaze drifted toward his injured companion before returning to her face.
"I know taekwondo when I see one. You know taekwondo?!" Blade asked, without trying to hide his genuine surprise.
Sienna didn’t answer. She saw no reason to explain herself to a group of men who had attempted to abduct her.
The silence seemed to make him even more uncertain. "Your moves... You’re... a black belt?"
"You can find out for yourself if you’re that curious," Sienna replied casually.
Although her tone remained calm, there was no mistaking the challenge in her words. She shifted her stance slightly, distributing her weight evenly and positioning herself to react if any of them decided to rush her.
