Damien groaned, tightening his hold. “Yeah, well, my kind of heat doesn’t cool off with an indoor shoot… or a cold shower. Maybe you should just move in here with me, hmm?”

Maya smiled, cheeks flushing as her heart hammered in her chest. “I’ll think about it…” Then, surprising him, she turned in his arms, rose onto her toes, and captured his mouth in a slow, tender kiss-soft and full of promise. “Goodnight… my future husband.”

His eyes darkened, fingers curling tightly around her waist, drawing her impossibly close.” God, you’re killing me.”

She smiled against his lips, then pulled back just enough to reach for her purse.
